What you do in this situation is run in front of the door, but do not unhook. If he's waiting in the door, he'll come out and chase you while someone else can go for the unhook. If he doesn't come out, you have plenty of time to unhook and run away before he arrives.
There are far more busted hooks that killers can use more consistently. Getting a lucky door right in front of a hook, is honestly not that useful for springtrap compared to putting the hook in the corner or near a gen like every other killer.
