Yes. For example, I can clear the Holy Sue off of my opponent's board before it summons Razen and they can pop two of my cards or steal a monster. I can tribute a bunch of Vanquish Soul cards that they summon on my turn and activate the effects of. I can get rid of an Izuna before they make Nash Knight which is an annoying card. MTG can create preset Tokens with effects that span more than just monsters. That card for example makes Treasure Tokens, which are Artifacts (basically Continuous Spells) that can get rid of themselves to grant mana. There's absolutely 0 analogue that can be applied to that card to make an equivalent in Yugioh.
