I checked my weapon type relics and was only able to do something for Duchess with reapers. It added a whole 10 points to 2h R1 damage and got me a pitiful amount of HP and FP back. Other than that, colors of relics never match the color slots of characters that would work with a given weapon type.

grab every trash item from the first camp you land by and hotswap weapons constantly for the elemental bonus and throw kukris at bosses day 1. You obliterate everything with kukris that isn't trash mobs that die in 1 hit to your beefed up elemental hits.
Take the best weapons from loot and on day 2 you have really strong weapons all going off with elements and weapon art spam with your fp.

Different type of starter with rot/frost gimmick that carries you thru day 1 and 2 effortlessly. You still have to play well to get enough boss gachas to fill your gear slots with good stuff.

It stays fun if you get good weapons and spam those weapon arts. The elemental buff is long enough anyway that you don't feel like you have to swap constantly. If you have any of those buff with +3 of a weapon type relics the hotswap works well with those.

Any of the gimmick builds are going to sacrifice raw damage or fluidity it comes with the territory you are choosing to play a gimmick instead of getting to the point.

if you look through the possible relic effects there's been a lot of switching around what is art or skill with the classes and there are still defunct effects whose names you can read.
I'm pretty certain duchess skill used to be her art. having stealth on a low cooldown and a big damage ult feels like a more classic choice and explains why her ult feels underwhelming.

My friends banned me from taking any kind of initiative when playing, meaning I can't suggest where to go, open any kind of chests, stop at a merchant or solo the boss when everyone is down with 3 bars
Playing with them is becoming more of a chore than anything, we never do gaols, top of the castle, crater or opening chest because "it's just a waste of time", instead we keep on doing camps during night 2 even if they don't give enough runes and we get to the final boss with blue weapons at best, no talismans, no consumables, level 11 and no weapons that match the boss weakness

The exception is elden stars, if you have rally and use elden stars you are effectively immortal outside one shots
Stamina is pretty whatever unless you wanna play a funny melee build, you shouldn't be in melee extremely often but its never a dead line
Vigor +3 is just one the most effective lines on every squishy character period, 60 hp is an enormous amount that is the difference between downing and not a lot in this game. It also gets acted upon by all your %s, so when I run 160 hp relics I end up being a 1300-1500 hp revenant more games than not, but that isn't particularly necessary for fulghor I find

the post-damage healing effect is actually insanely good on guardian, you don't need to care about what greatshield you get since any chip damage can just be healed with a shield poke. I run poison starter weapon with Ironeye and charged Art poison ult, pretty good because you can consistently proc it from a distance. Use heavy triple shot shotty on big enemies at close range and it proc's pretty quickly. Also charged poison ult usually procs in 1 but if it doesn't against say Magma Wyrn or Ulcerated tree spirit then the poison bow will finish the job of proccing after the ult.

Playing with random raiders is so painful.
They put up the stela at most annoying times so my lock-on breaks and I can't see what the boss is doing, then they chase the boss all fight without dealing damage and keep dying. What happened? It used to be a reliable class

i think revenant is fine, but she gets particularly fucked by certain nightlords.
the nightlords that fight with their body are ok, the nightlords that do aoe combos spam suck.
i have ez time with libra or gnoster, absolutely suck against fulghor or even heolstor

if you feel like playing guardian
just play raider instead, equip a post-damage regen relic and put prayerful strike on your weapon
you're just as sturdy, you actually have a dodge and you hold aggro a lot better because you're actually dealing damage

the remembrance guides triggers are all wrong, i have beaten 4 unique night lords already, I've actually done 5, duchess next part still locked.
the rest seem kinda bullshit with the expeditions and "defeat X night lord" ones, im going to be doing this shit for hours rather than just playing characters I like.

there is something people are missing about guardian, guarding, and stamina management.

It's hard to explain truly. But Guardian is draining stamina to use his guard mode. Executor is not only not draining stamina BUT regening stamina while waiting to deflect.

That is HUGE. One character is losing stamina constantly meaning he will be less able to guard, attack, and sprint, while the other will always be great on stamina management.

I don't even run the evergaol relic
