I just got this game recently and went through the Burial route and the incomplete one (and got the andy ending, though it felt more like a gimmick than a proper ending), I went into this game thinking it was going to be incest bait all the way, but I guess not. I want to know what are anons' thoughts on where the story is heading.

I thought perhaps the dev was intending to go full incest, but since the story is actually taking the psychological aspect of the characters seriously and doing it really well, I feel like that's not what's going to happen. Seems to me that Ashley doesn't really love Andrew romantically and instead just projects literally every single possible role onto him, which includes romantic feelings. Andrew is similar, he feels like Ashley is the only person he can be close to and the only person that understands him, but not in the "true love" sense. The whole flashback with Andrew's thoughts when he was getting mindraped by Lord Unknown seemed to imply that Andrew and Ashley being together isn't advisable, since Ashley "got worse" once they made up. I don't see how this game would have anything but bittersweet endings where the siblings end up separated, assuming that is what it would take for them to "get better"

Regarding the routes, Decay, to me, seemed to symbolize the deterioration of Ashley and Andrew's relationship, hence why I'm thinking about the whole separation thing, with it being focused on Andrew, where Andrew is actually forced to confront his past and his problems. I'm wondering what Burial will be about. Ashley's perspective instead? Perhaps it has a theme about killing and burying parts of their past and their selves? Maybe Ashley decides to bury Leyley and move on? Also it's interesting that in the Andy route Andrew receives a demon mark just like in Burial, has the demon claimed him?

Burnout is very fair, especially since Nemlei is usually so respurceful and austere. Ashley got worse once Andrew rejected her, it's just that during their separattion, she's had nothing to live for, nothing to fight for, so she lived on autopilot of misery and depression.
Andrew coming back to her, leaving the door open, but not really elaborating where they stand lit a fire in her, and she's been falling back on her manipulative tricks as Leyley(which she admittedly isn't proud of), just to find a way to salvage their relationship.

The story of Coffin is about them confronting their personal demons, both figurative and literal. ??? represents Leyley, and Lord Unknown represents Andy, and each ending of Decay shows her standing with her Leyley, in SnS, she becomes a slave to Leyley, and only relies in coercion, in Bitch in a box, she works in tandem with Leyley for a delusion, and in Cliffhanger, she's keeping distance from Leyley and is starting to put her faith in Andrew instead.
Burial is similiar, Sane is Ashley rejecting Leyley and choosing Andrew's happyness over hers, because she believes he wants to be without her, but the gesture is still there, she resolves to fight for freedom of Andrew's soul from herself.
Questionable is Ashley rejecting reality and accepting the delusion of Andrew acting as a playmate to Leyley, despite it not being what they want.
