I did some tests. It seems BB gets disabled as soon as you proc Manastorm. It's kinda weird, BB looks like to be bugged at the moment. For starters, it has no enable/disable functionality. Once you activate it, it's activated forever until you run of out of mana. The "6 seconds" duration does nothing. Second, it states that it spends "5% mana per second", but from what I've tested, it's 5% of your current mana, and not total.

Nonetheless, there's a workaround for Manastorm. You can link BB to Lifetap in order to keep it running with the lightning bonus. The problem is that MS duration is too low. You have to keep regeneration an unfathomable amount of mana in those seconds to make it worth it. One possible solution would be going for Energy Blade and Battlemage, but I feel that's gonna get expensive down the line

You generally start from the most abundant color and work towards the less abundand. For example there WILL be cases when you have like 5 yellow and 1 red, then you pump red - this will happen regardless of atlas setup and you need to adapt on the spot. PoE2 isn't actually slow and methodical enough. PoE2 was a good game when Chris was there and all the pre Jonathan footage was more slow and deliberate with less spam and everyone was hyped and praising it.
