Do the scaffolding path, fuck the stairs. Drop down from the grace after the gap, forward past the handrails then drop to the right where the Revenant is - might be able to see the cursefrogs from the path but not sure. 1. Carry a strong elemental weapon as a sidearm in case you run out of FP
2. Carry a big weapon for revivals, the starting claws are fine for this too
3. Pick up sacred seals to look for good incantations to use
4. If you can recover FP at a nearby grace, prioritize that over chowing down on starlight shards
5. Hit up Rises for shards, buy small pouch from the merchants to hold more shards. Random merchants have 2 shards, the town setpiece merchant has his own stock, and the petrified merchant in the spirit shelter has his own stock
6. Consider if the enemy is worth using starlight shards on or if your spells take too much time to cast or if you can finish them off with a weapon. If it's some shit field miniboss don't bother eating, just finish them off with a sword or something

the problem with this is that as far as I can tell, you can't get more than 1 character effect on a looted relic naturally and you already have the evergoal relic that everyone's running so you need to fit 3 class effects, evergaol, and for the +1, in my honest opinion, should be wraith calling bell

I also would get if you went 'but wraith calling bell has fixed damage and scaling, my character could technically use the bell' but revenant does have a bigger fp bar than most and one on-demand personal damage buff, one situational AOE team damage buff that will be used at the same time as a bell anyway along with the ghostflame ult can be used to deal a pretty sizeable chunk of damage or groups by which revenant also benefits really hard from 'art gauge up on killing' if using the ult aggressively enough

however, revenant's not as good at nuking/controlling groups of trash mobs or trash mobs pretending to be bosses in evergaols and events, guardian's got that particular niche locked down tight (but this is outside of nightlords)

There are certain parts of the game where popping it is too easy but its worth it to have it when it isnt. I run extended and double dash, and late day 2 I have a hard time marking field bosses because the team can pop them so fucking fast it keeps even double dash on cool down. But then you get to the night boss and suddenly its like 50/50 if your mark will pop at all, so you want the duration.

Get something like these relics (taking damage give atk up is good aswell).
Expend stamina, use skill when you've ran out and/or youre about to be hit by a big attack (It mitigates the overwhelming majority of whatever damage you would have taken.
Use Ult for stagger, for damage buff, or as a longer get out of jail iframe free card.

I use 2H most of the time unless I find 2 weapons that are good, but I prefer 2h majority when i'm playing.

Get attacking gives dmg negation, getting hit gives negation, jump, and 2h/dw up passives, negation at full is fine aswell.

Also when you use your skill and an attack would otherwise kill you, you cannot die nor be knocked on your ass.

When you take damage you will get the sweating looking animation (you can hear when it triggers sounds like a fwooshing noise), makes your skill last longer, and the 2nd bop on it will do more damage and much heavier stagger

Get stamina, stance break, atk %, etc from the loot orbs
