For phoenix - Kjata:
You NEED elemental lvl 2 at least with fire so phoenix can stop being an annoying faggot, hes a free kill if you do.
For Kjata, The best way to kill it is to pressure into stagger using weakness -aga spells on him. Another tip is to use -aga spells just when he has summoned a rune to absorb but before he smash it, that way you cancel and it gives you more time.

For Titan - Bahamut:
At the beginning of the battle they summon a shared shield that if you break, it will pressure both. To break teh shield easier, dodge titan attacks and then hit him back, he will stumble and his shield will be more easily broken. Pressure and stagger titan and do as much damage as you can (bahamut will be stunned during the pressure). For bahamut, just use and abuse counterfire to pressure bahamut, break his wings with strong attacks and use synergy abilities to keep him in place, you dont have to use them for damage during stagger or stuff like that.

For Odin - Alexander
Hit Odin as much as you can so he can fuck off, spam ATB skills on him. Once he fucks off, focus on alexander. Kills his arms and he will pressure, and once you stagger, you MUST kill him in one stagger otherwise he will use judgement and Odin will come back. Odin is a piece of cake later.

For Gilgamesh:
Nothing much i can add with gilgamesh other than use fire attacks and break his genji shield, use dispell to debuff him, try to perfect block his attacks to take away his weapons, and just the regular rules like use focused abilities when hes pressured and synergy abilities to keep him in place.

For sephiroth, the key thing is to survive his first phase. Perfect block his chains abilities, it is the only way to avoid getting stunned. Use -aga spells to keep him stunned and use cloud to counter his attacks and gain ATB. Once he goes phase two, hes way easier specially since you have elemental on armor.

Chapter 3 happens in a "day off", in between bombing missions. In the original, they didnt really put thought into plotting or character relationship, so instead they have you arrive at 1:00 am, wake up and immediately go for the mission. The "water bill" thing that for some reason caught up your attention is just a vehicle to introduce your sorroundings, explore character relationships, introducing sidequests, etc. You dont even collect the water bills like if it was a sidequest, its all about cloud and tifa dialogue and world building.

My problem with Remake is that it isn't the same as the original, but it's not different either. Nomura just put Whispers in there and made Cloud's gay boyfriend, Sephiroth, show up a lot. So it's different in a really bad way instead of being different in a "whoa wtf is even going on" type of way. But it's not actually the same either because there are constantly Whispers and Sephiroth popping up all over the place to remind you that Nomura made this game.

7r is good if you just turn your brain off and enjoy the flashy combat, beautiful settings, music and cunny but dont take anything else seriously. original ffvii has all of that appeal but also has some of the best story, characterization, atmosphere and pacing ever put into an rpg. it engages you on an emotional, damn near spiritual level. a 40 hour journey packed to the brim with memorable, unique moments one after the other with almost zero padding or fluff. a game where even the optional and joke party members go through a meaningful arc and change by the end. theres no comparison and if I keep talking about this I WILL start having a melty

the only thing I hate more than 7r defenders are XII defenders. no fuck you it was NOT good and literally marked the turning point where the series became permanently sloppified. I bet if sakaguchi never got shitcanned and kept his tard wrangler status, matsuno couldve directed the game in peace and wouldnt have left, FFXII wouldve turned out actually good, FF would still be in its golden age, I wouldve actually finished college and got a real career and a girlfriend, and my life would be awesome instead of waking up and asking god for the courage to rope myself every morning.
