God I love timewalking events. Just leveled my fourth character this week for a total of 33 max levels. Best way to level is dps. At the start of every dungeon I just say “brb bio, I’ll catch up” and alt tab over to YouTube instead. The biggest difference between old and new Metzen/Blizzard is that they used to write stories very focused and concise and now it's like glimpsing into the mind of someone with untreated ADHD struggling to start an essay. I first noticed this with the SC2 campaigns where they took 3x as long to tell a story as SC1 would. Here in WoW they're so focused on "world-building" that we get more time devoted to learning about random kobold cultures than things happening in the actual main plot.

You start with her spitting poison and acid like a generic spider mob then she starts shooting slicing webs and tries to draw you in with more webs to murk you, then she ascends and her transformed royal guard show up and start lobbing void shit at you, so you in turn slay them and ascend while dealing with increasingly more voidy mechanics as she's still trying to drag you to your deaths with her webs, then finally you reach the pinnacle of her lair where she throws everything at you and the platform becomes a kind of frantic bullet hell with web lines, void balls, exploding shit etc.
Fyrakk was similar where you start fighting a funny looking dude with his axe, then he briefly turns into a dragon and does a deep breath scorching everything in his wake, then the elf spirits and shit start trying to make their way to the heart of the tree to heal it so you gotta protect them from all the burning chaos otherwise they catch on fire, become corrupted and try to kill you, then finally Fyrakk goes all out in his dragon form in a final attack where you become engulfed in either his shadow or flame aura and have to kill him without killing your homies
Another good one would be Razsageth, they really went nuts with that one as a first boss and the various phases. you have to know what the alerts mean. If you see bigwigs telling you something is casting, but don't actually know if you have to either run, taunt, or hide behind something it doesn't help much. With DBM it tells you what to do to counter the mechanic and doesn't rely on you reading the mechanics beforehand.

Usually people configure bigwigs to show timer bars or make custom warnings or reactions before a specific mechanic. Like if you needed to know 7.5 seconds before bossman does x so you can prepare a specific spell or go stand somewhere and then also make your character say something specific when you get y debuff you could do that. You can also make it completely silent and just have tiny timer bars or minimal or no warning text for stuff, probably the same with dbm but most players are lazy or retarded or both and just play with it on default settings out of the box with 700 airhorns and flashing shit on their screen.
