For the games I've played with dailies the ones I don't mind are the ones that are either incredibly quick, or get completed with the content I would be playing anyways. Anything that requires you to spend a lot of time I've never kept up with. I just know myself well enough that even though I enjoy the concept of career it won't be long until it feels like a chore. I've played all of these, it is only partially true.
In these you could target grind nearly everything, in modern gachas you have to log in every day, or you lose out on very efficient and often limited resource gain.

My current strat is spamming a longer distance uma at 600/600/600 baseline to try and fish for a 3* gene. 3x a day use a 9* gene borrow if you have one, because that can boost your breeding process quickly if you get lucky and get a 3* child off the parent. I use clocks on these runs only atm for what it's worth. Chances are still low. Once you start getting 3* genes, switch uma and do it all over again with your parent 3* gene. my understanding is the game first rolls to see which of the 5 stats you are going to be given a gene in, then it checks to see what your finishing stat landed at and then rolls the dice. If you are targeting a specific stat gene then you should just grind 1100 in a stat and maybe 600 in another as a fallback. Eventually you have to target genes to get that 9*, this is just to get started.

I did career with her as front, she works better with that in my experiencie, I did use pace in the URA Finale finals because I had the performance boosts for 5 horses with same strat and favorite with same strat otherwise I didnt have anything to activate at the start of the race and I got an overwhelming victory from it
