Vertically launched missiles don't need to be exposed besides the end of the tube. I like it a lot but you should be aware of what you are getting into. the stealth is pretty effective if you are already good at staying out of sight, you have a lot of extra grace with radar and IR locks. the weaponry is awful. hydras are awful. stingers are awful. hellfires are awful. the 20mm is very good however.

The issue is they need another ship to come alongside and crane over new missiles, I don't think he means when the ship is in port. They even spent millions on a stabilized crane to make it work better but that either got cut or failed. Mainly a concern for USN ships operating off china far from ports. Second one is that vehicles are actually prominent and don't have a team-wide restriction on their numbers. US is a good starter tree, destroyers are really strong and cruisers are as well. Aylwin, Sumner, Gearing, Atlanta, Cleveland, and Fargo are probably the ships you want to focus on grinding. Unfortunately most of the battleships are gimped with a reload slower than they ought to have, and were behind the meta before they added the monsters this update, so there’s nothing good to grind Iowa with, just stuff that’s less bad. I’d probably recommend the 7.3 Alaska/Nevada/Arizona lineup for that though, it gets stomped a bit less hard in uptiers than the 7.7s. If they’d added either of the other fast battleship classes or even the 1920 SoDaks it wouldn’t be as dire but as things thanks it’s tied for longest rank VI grind in game while also having pretty weak ships to do it with. Pretty much just start playing and learn as you go, best tips are bind ranging shot and always make sure to undershoot rather than overshoot, since dispersion is more likely to save you there, unless they’re extending away then the opposite.

Is it really worth it to pay into skipping tech tree vehicles over just buying a top tier premium?
Like lets say I want to grind out Russian tanks, my end goal is to get the T-72B3A (and then the T-90M/T-80BVM but like let's say one 12.0 and I'm satisfied)
Spending the exact same amount of money, wouldn't it make more sense to buy a T-80U-E1/T-80UD/2S38, or would it make sense to buy as high up the tech tree as 10,800~ GE would get me?
Although really right now the T-80U-E1 is half price and comes with 2500 eagles so I feel like it's almost not even a real question? 3000/5500~ GE is not going to get you very far at all

Premium vehicles contrary to popular niggerdom should be purchased as a lineup to make the most use of your time and sanity.
two brand new premiums in a lineup is anywhere from $100-$160 dollars.
with heavily developed trees like Russia specifically, its going to cost you probably $300-$400 to skip to top tier.
I've done it on a few lineups just because i had no intention of playing low tier whatever for 200 hours just to get to a vehicle I sort of cared about.
easiest way to see cost that I've found is look up all the RP cost for every vehicle you'd HAVE to skip, add those numbers, add whatever number GE you have to buy for SL you dont have, and then divide that number by 15.
You can see what it will cost you prior to actually spending the money.
Just make sure you don't fuck up and research the wrong vehicles and cant unlock the next tier.

you can shoot Stugs through the flat part on their fronts, usually kills in one hit
KV-1's you can punch through the UFP if they're head on, or you can take them out with a shot to the turret cheek

Try aiming and taking out their barrels, and watching as the KV-CHUD or jagdpanzer chud tries to flee in terror

STUGS have weakspots - flat plates on either side of the gun. Jagdpanzers are kinda good tho, so you either avoid them or shoot out their gun, .5 cal the tracks and kill them through the weak side armor
KV's are hard to kill, but if you angle well they will have trouble to kill you too - shoot below the gun to take the breach then the weakspots - flat corners of the turret or frontal plates - shoot what's flat or get into a position to shoot what's flat

DO be wary of running into KV-1E's or KV-1B's though, they are TURBONIGGERFAGGOT wagons usually played by level 100s who like to club low level players.
