if you're during uncharged lightning spears I think it's best to just hug him mostly, because the shorter animation seems to have a habit of going off as he jerks his body, but when he does like the triple dustwave you can weave uncharged spears between it if you're close to him and there's several other openings if you're comfortable dodging him

His madness channeling was the worst though, since it did constant damage no matter where you were, meaning it would most certainly kill your entire party because they weren't aware of this bug yet. They probably didn't see the health drain and thought they could survive the madness proc.
It was super annoying and lasted almost an entire week, then suddenly he was back to normal again. If it weren't for the confused speedrunners i would've blamed myself for not gitting gud enough. Though i did beat him because i just wanted to be done with him, it just took an informed team.
some anon was saying that rev is a better recluse and im starting to agree with him. FP dumping the nightlord isnt an issue, you should have like 6-8 shards by then. rev is good for rez ally or tank boss with summons. recluse just helps your team win faster if it was going to win anyways but if they need you to carry you better do it while they are still alive to distract the boss or its gonna be rough as hell

Rev isn't gonna carry a shitty team to winning because the reason a team is shitty is because it has no damage and reviving shitty teammates isn't gonna do all too much. A recluse can output enough damage on her own to kill the boss by herself, and her own survivability is way better because Recluse has the single best individual dodge button in the game. Ultwise, if Rev is saving their ult in case people go down, their maybe gonna use one ult per boss. Recluse is gonna generate way more heals and fp just be virtue of being a use it almost as soon as you get it ult. Not to mention sorceries are just flat out better in this game.
