But it does bring to mind a thought I had: does PM try too hard to tell the story through the gameplay? Three examples from the latest Canto:

>Hong Lu's eye potentially being more than just a camera (You do not know the fathoms of the eye's powers, its special nature)
This is all from skill names and passives. Which like, that's cool if it reveals some little trivia factoid about a character. But seemingly important insights like this should be handled by the story, not just fucking alluded to...
Another big example being Don Bloodfiend. The biggest hint was her healing from bleed in her EGO. They then proceeded to invent some flashbacks right before the reveal in WARP train where the Sinners are like "ewww Don your feet are so stinky haha." Yeah, maybe it'd be better to actually foreshadow it in the story itself?? I know retcons and all but the change to her EGO was done just a month after release, it seems like Director was heading in that direction for a while but he just never committed to it in the story itself. Very gay.

But don't let that distract from my main point, that PM puts emphasis on story details through gameplay things when really they should just be portrayed in the damn story itself.
