It's been mentioned countless times, the current anime season is incredibly boring, and people were specifically noting that Crashtown works well as a standalone series. (It's been years since I've watched it so I don't know how true that is.) There's a mass of people who are looking for something new and interesting, and are watching 5Ds for the first time

Depends on how they do the batches. Zexal starts off pretty rough, but if the first batch of uploads reaches Kaito's introduction, it might catch people's intrigue. I don't know if collectathon style anime is still popular in the modern day. People criticize Zexal's duel writing for being boss monster turbo protect the castle, but there's always the chance that Jojo being more popular than it was when Zexal originally aired might lead to people enjoying that in the framing of boss monsters as Stands

You need to understand the mentality of around 2008.

Prior to 5Ds, there was no such thing as an "Extra Deck", it was called the "Fusion Deck" because that's where Fusion Monsters go and it had no limit since to the player base, Fusion was a mechanic which took too much resources to ever use naturally hence why they used cheat cards like Scientist or Metamorphosis to summon Fusion Monsters.

Then along came 5Ds to reshape this entirely, suddenly the bottomless fusion deck is gone and replaced with a 15 card Extra Deck and there are new Synchro Monsters which can be used immediately since tuners are easy to splash in.

It was a completely jarring change because now players had to adapt to Stardust Dragon eating their Mirror Forces and Goyo stealing their Monsters when this was never the case before.

If it was a seasonal anime, they could actually tell a story. As it stands, loreshit suffers from the inability to actually tell solid stories due to the way it is conveyed.
The way lore is conveyed at the moment is absolutely fucking dogshit. It's like one of those autism test books where they show you disjointed images and ask you to tell a story. When the only medium you can tell the story is in picture snippets rather than actual honest to god words, it is too difficult to tell a functioning story. You can tell because every time people try to tell what is going on they get it like 60% right until the lorebook comes out and spells out what the fuck you were meant to gleam from them

Have Link-9+ monsters with "overlinking" and having different colored arrows equal to the excess

I just get the Dragonshield sealable inner sleeves and w/e other sleeve over that. Load the cards from the top into the sealable inner and then after closing it I just load them into my normal sleeves like normal and provides a nice amount of protection against accidental water incidents. Only issue is when you double sleeve get ready to place something heavy on your sleeved cards to push out the excess air.
