I'm going to be honest and can't really explain why but exploring and farming in the overworld has never really felt comfy to me. Maybe it's the character distance from the camera or maybe it's the aggressive auto targeting or hell, maybe it's even the over correcting easy of movement.
Avinoleum, for example, looked amazing but didn't feel fun to explore. In a way it feels a little too spread out and most of the landmarks kind of blend together as your fly past.
I've pretty much fully explored the maps but they don't really have that grove street, home, feel. My hope is that the rest of Septimont will have a bit more to sink your teeth into in the currently flooded lower reaches.
