The problem with niche buffers is that they only provide buffs to niche dmg types like distributed, sustained, true etc, which already makes them less useful than general buffers that buff ATK, attack damage or dmg taken, which all characters can benefit from
So the obvious thing to do would be to give niche buffers higher numbers than the general buffers to make up for it, but for whatever reason shitup is doing the opposite most of the time and the niche buffs are just weaker than general buffs
The only recent exception are the pirate maids, but that's mainly just because their kits are stacked with all sorts of other buffs, reload speed, ATK, attack dmg, crit rate, crit dmg, hit rate and even healing so the distributed dmg is just the small extra that makes it best to use them with SBS

SR got cancelled twice. First time because Raven's sustained dmg was fucked and wasn't proccing every 1sec like it's supposed to and the second time now because there's an exploit where you can animation cancel the delay after Raven, SBS and A2 shoot to make them shoot faster, which is best achieved with macros and because Ein doesn't deal true dmg anymore with her burst for whatever reason
