Also, the stories in the games will never be relevant again anyways. The narrative flow in the comics is ironically more significant. The games are not built first and foremost to be narrative exercises in the Sonic medium. If you're playing the games for the story, you're playing them for the wrong reason.

She's the one that'll be hanging off of Tangle or Whisper in fear as something explodes in the background behind them or the sensible backup plan that catches something they miss when they're a little too reckless. There would be no deconstruction of their tendencies for drama to make them abandon each other and do something stupid, this would just be their dynamic as it should be and all is well.
