Magnum Excalibur was kind of a wasted slot in all honesty. Its the support I've been waiting on for years but its still got weaknesses. Droll and Nib the big two for them. Playing against someone who doesn't know much about how to play is so refreshing, they could probably go on a tirade playing for 15 minutes but just play to summon something, get rid of my monster, attack directly and pass. It's like classic Yugioh. She is pretty much a tcg virgin, this means the natural state of the game is playing like videogame / anime Yugioh, only experienced / tryhard card players would think of going overkill and playing as much as possible before just ending your turn and letting the other player have a go. Naturally as someone without knowledge, you probably think the point of this game is to do something and then concede a turn to your opponent so he also does something, I mean what was the point of buying these cards and sitting at the table if we're not both playing, right?
If I heard right she doesn't like playing against the others because they just go turbo on her and try to teach her combos / tell her what she should be doing.

From what i hear online, the game is always dying and it's "only a matter of time til they stop production". From what i see at my local scene, it has it's dry seasons because most people take a break and don't just play a single card game, but thats just my anecdote
