CN is for some very odd reason generally sped up, both her and the other snakes, like she was supposed to be in perma-nightcore mode. Other versions don't have that issue. Not just high pitched or chipmunk'd, genuinely sped up. And I know that the Chinese can talk very fast but it's not that kind of fast. I wish I was wrong because it just sounds so weird, other CN voices in R1999 don't give me that feeling.
I'm not the best person to ask about KR, I'd say they sound fairly normal here and then they're the over the top cheaper k-drama voice actors there. Korean Snek has the voice of a Samsung office lady though and that's not my thing.
JP Hissy sounds like a younger-ish hag but a fairly playful one, I can see why people would like that. She's supposed to be a teen though. As for the other sneks, they don't have the same cartoonish manner as the EN ones, not exactly the usual anime-style voice acting either, but it's not how random street folks in Tokyo would talk. And I get that they're not supposed to, but just so you know. For some reason the people here really are shocked that anime voice acting is, well, voice acting, it's not supposed to be grounded.

Basically, the original theory I had to explain how the storm works would be something like an onion.

The "True" timeline before the storm existed would be the core of the onion, and the layers would be storm-reverted eras being overlayed onto that core.
They would not be overlayed perfectly onto each other though, which would explain storm immune areas.

Now however, my theory has shifted to a sort of inverse of that, where the core is what's being changed to the different era's by the storm (which is why its able to be altered) instead of a layer of a particular time period being added atop the "True" timeline.

Its sort of like the veil in folklore, where ultraterrestrials like sprites, etc can pop into our dimension (our dimension is "denser" than theirs) which allows them to freely hop between the two, compared to beings of our denser dimension that find it difficult to do that (Not sure how else to explain fairy rings, etc lol).

The liquid comparison with the storm, is due to the properties of the rainwater and an aspect of the storm that we learn about in 2.8

That was so good. one of my favorites. maybe because I'm biased towards space. I love space. all boys do.
It's amazing seeing not only Earth but the entire Universe actually gets Reversed.

There were only 2 things I disliked about the event:
1. Voyager was an observer who didn't actually do anything AT ALL;

I expected a bittersweet ending where someone, Kiperina and/or Voyager to actually get stuck in the space without getting Reversed, but everyone on Earth though they did. It'd be a nice setup for a re-introduction when Vertin goes to space in the future. But nope. The mission was a success and now everyone learned another thing about the Storm... and teleportation. This is fine, but I expected more.

And looking at the official timeline here >>529927040 , it seems that the event happened around the same time as Chapter 4 with Vertin & Matilda's flashback, which means 4-5 years before the main event and before Rayashki & Jiu's events, which means Windsong, Vila, Name Day, Avgust, Jiu, GeTian, Kiperina and Hissabeth are canonically much older than their in-game appearance in the current main event.

My hype for the story is restored.
