The rate of learning is a lot slower on guitar and that was discouraging for me.
For one thing as a beginner, almost no matter what, it will feel like your fingers are too fucking fat and/or your guitar's neck is too thin. Getting fingering right is hard. Finger pain seems to vary based on person, I never found it prohibitive from playing but it can stinging the strings are metal. As you practice chords and sleep on it the fingering will get easier, though you also want to keep in practice.
Personally I find guitar not as enriching to play alone as piano, and that's because it's very difficult to have "accompaniment" on acoustic or electric guitar. (It's more common in classical guitar, but this almost certainly not what you actually want to play, it's sort of a distinct instrument). Like a lot of bands employing guitar have two guitarists and a bassist to get all the sound they want. The rhythm guy and the melody guy and the bassline guy.
On piano one person can play a very "full" piece. It takes a while to get to this level but you have two hands to play, and also pedals that let you sustain notes while both hands continue playing other notes. Some workstation-tier digital pianos would also let you switch between instrument sound fonts on a dime or create a backing track on the fly, though such options will probably be very expensive.
All that said, I still like the guitar. The sound of a guitar is wonderful and versatile and there's nothing quite like picking strings.

Flowey is a facsimile of Asriel created during the course of Alphys' experiments. Alphys wanted to create a sort of container for monster souls that would allow the otherwise ephemeral spirits of monsters to inhabit a living, but not sentient, object so that monsters over time could create enough spiritual power to destroy the barrier without killing humans, by way of infusing that object with determination. This unwittingly created a sentient object out of a flower which was steeped in Asriels remains and so spawned with some element of his being intact, but could not maintain a monster's form, and lacked a soul of its own so it couldn't truly maintain positive bonds with anyone. The isolation, rejection, and lack of belonging, plus unknown time spent living that same timeline over and over, and making increasingly bizarre choices in his daily life just to get out of living the same thing over and over, eventually turned him into Flowey

It's implied Chara convinced Asriel they'd be heroes who saved all monster kind, and the reality of what they were undertaking didn't set in for Azzy until Chara was comatose and dying.
We don't know if Kris sees the save points or just us. Kris is shown with a save file we overwrite, but the time on it is 0:00:00.
Monsters have monster souls. Flowey had neither a monster soul nor a human soul.
WD Gaster is never even mentioned in a normal playthrough. He was uncovered by community effort. There's basically a 1/100 chance you can meet one of his 3 "followers" on a playthrough based on a value on your save when you start the game called the FUN value. Gaster was "shattered across time and space", and one follower says "it's rude to speak about people who are listening". The third follower is holding a gray egg-shaped oval with a smiling face on it and mentions "I have a piece of him right here!" before vanishing with an ominous musical cue.
If you get FUN value 66 there's a 1/10 chance you find a "room in between" before where Sans is in Waterfall. There's a gray door there which opens up to the MYSTERYMAN, who many people believe is Gaster. If you interact with him, he looks surprised and fades away.
You might notice the logs in True Lab skip from 16 to 18. In the code you can hack in a scene that triggers ENTRY 17. It's written in Wing Dings. It appears to be a transcription of Gaster discovering a Dark World, and he asks two other people present what they think.
The music that plays in ENTRY 17 is mus_smile. This also plays if you try to call the phone in a dark world in DELTARUNE and it's the sound the Shelter makes slowed down like 6000%. This may be connected to FRIEND, there's some more details but it's a rabbit hole to write anymore about.
Another FUN value event is the sound test in Undertale. It has tracks called HappyTown, Meat Factory, Trouble Dingle, and Gaster's Theme. Gaster's Theme breaks the sound test eventually.

One of the earliest iterations of IIRC the Deltarune.com website had a line of the prophecy written in Wing Dings. If it's not clear, people believe W.D. is the initials for Wing Dings. Consequently, people have also connected Gaster to Sans and Papyrus, since they are named after fonts they speak in, and Gaster is black and white, possible a skeleton.
Gaster's theme is called him.ogg in the files. The intro to Deltarune's theme is called Another HIM.
Very important detail I totally forgot is Gaster's association with 6. If you datamine his stats in Undertale, they're maxed out 6s. This is important for a couple reasons. Obviously 666 is associated with the devil. But, keep in mind that repeating 999s is associated with Chara & murder/destruction, and thus Undertale's angel prophecy. So while some read the 6 motif as malevolent, it may also show Gaster's connection to creation and opposition to the Angel. This is pretty important since he claims to want to create a new future with you, while the Prophecy involves "banishing the angels heaven".
