So I see they buffed the enemies in the guzman heist times a good 500 or so. There's really no bounds to the extent R* will go to fight it's players, they just do it gradually. There's like no cover for you that the enemies can't shoot you from, the gunplay in the game overall is just terrible, the enemies do this retarded pop shot and hide thing, the moment you aim, forcing you to stand outside of cover, you get riddled and have to spam snacks. They manage to draw out even the GUNFIGHTS. Armor goes in literally 1 single shot, I don't know if that's normal or not, it's almost not worth even using it because the very moment you've equiped it they erase it. Tiresome game design. It wasn't like this when it first game out, in fact around then it was even possible to load the plane without shooting anyone even once. Same can't be said now.

Cleared a pacific standard since a randomly added friend invited me, which went surprisingly smooth.
I let him take lion's share despite helping with all the setups since he is sub level 100(checked his career, that 1mil he got out of it is 0.25% of his total lifetime earnings).
Even so, it's ridiculous that if you do pacific standard with 15% and all setups, all on hard, you walk away with 423k, so a bit more than the full acid load I delivered earlier, but less than 4 boats of counterfeit cash I delivered before.
Shame, because they really still are a good bit of fun when you get some competent players, which luckily the host was.

During the mission where he chases the tennis coach, he mentions the arrangement to Franklin - which I feel I've never heard before. I've never had Michael sleep around during my files before and don't want this to be something he does.

They only really get "fresh" when you just have a special kind of autism that can jack right into it and figure out the speedrunner teir intricacies and then power through it without stress, and in that you can find a world of appeal (just look at the small gtao speedrunning scene) but most players just aren't built for that, I don't think.
So maybe, yeah, you could argue in some ways, the game just isn't for me, but I see a lot of appeals, things which appeal to me, that can't be fully realized because the design inhibits it and I, having come by effectively 15 years late (starting fresh on PC) have to stress myself out with content that doesn't even work for me because of server issues, and repetitive solo missions (guzman, cayo, which are safe bets if your internet blows) numerous times over the span of hours even for individual cars, the newer and better ones being buffed in pay compared to what was in the game years ago, but then at the same time, you are dealing with the sae "lucrative" content you were years ago, with now a tad bit of variety but also nerfs to go with it (looking at cayo and payphone hits). I would agree that it wouldn't make sense to make what before took years to get take months, but this, I think could do for changes and improvements, and it wouldn't even take anything close to something as extreme as that. The progression hasn't been straight upwards. I think there's an irrefutable case to be made for buffs-

I don't know if it's primarily just PC thing, but this game is so stressful, in every way. The devs don't bother to, and or have no idea how to balance their game, not just money wise but the entire game and what it's all about, which is fundamentally a matter of dealing a map of understanding of the game and it's most tangible elements, by which I mean, that which you are guaranteed and likely to be experiencing and therefore dictates the experience. They don't playtest it (why would they), they deal in vague ideas and just slap things right on the mudcake and call it a day. Their heuristic for dealing with the game can't extend very far beyond "ARE THE GOYIM STILL SLAPPING DOLLARS ON IT?". Really an aids ecosystem, and one I know could be easily fixed with competent men working at their company. It wouldn't even be that hard. They have all the resources they could ever need to make it all work better without even terraforming it in it's entirety but they are too busy wacking off and smoking crack.

Years ago, I used to be good at long range head shots. Any gun, even in motion at moving targets, I could summon a red dot. But lately I took up some of the old content, and I feel rusty. It's like I have so many little strategies to make my grind easy, that I didn't have to work at the violent fundamentals. GTA just isn't a game that rewards me for shooting center mass.

If you're in the air in a jet you're generally going to be fine unless you fly directly into the turret line of sight.
If you're on the ground without any good cover nearby, they can grief you repeatedly fairly easily.
