You don't. Once Spectre can 1v1 those losers, she can probably 1v2 you too. You need to group up and prevent her from farming heroes, and pay attention when she comes in to killsteal and snipe people while you're fighting somebody else, etc. Only a farmed carry with teammates can win against a farmed Spectre. I got offlane as a role, won my lane, got three T1 towers (as Bristle) then we lost the game over time because I had Zeus mid with Phylactery and Ghost Scepter and Lifestealer with late Radience and poor target priority, NP as a support (though he played well) and AA which did nothing this game as the hero is a situational counterpick more than an useful support.

I wish there was a way to pay to watch tournaments to sustain the scene longer. Too hard to make money unless you are a betting company or actually own the game. Need an open source version of the game, but then each tournament organizer will have their own balance patch. I would pay $1-2 a series or $10 every 3 months to watch games. They could even have ads between the matches so I don't have to see the "talent".

The issue is in fact with there being too many cooks in the kitchen, namely too many tournament organisers. That's the irony of the whole "wah battlepasses are bad" shit that the casters tried to push. When Valve is king of the hill with TI being the one big tournament a year, everybody has a focus, and the prize pools and shit all focus there and gets distributed to everyone. Of course, that isn't always good when the payout is once a year. What Valve needed to do was organise more "seasons" and shit like they did with the Majors and stick to doing them properly instead of bailing out once one TO got uppity with them (think it was issues with the Shanghai Majors?). The teams can do whatever they want and play in whatever smalltime regional they like, and the Majors would hand out qualification points or invites based on those results, and everybody can live a normal, scheduled life.

But no, the casters had to be greedy shills for greedy orgs. Now we have like 20 different tournament orgs, all different and separate from each other, who want to make their own little fiefdom but there are only so many betting orgs and so many tournaments they can sponsor. Not to mention the logistics of having the big teams sign up and fly over to play, on top of getting the equipment and shit. So the prizes get fragmented amongst the various tournaments, and teams get tired of picking and choosing random-ass tournaments that are all tiny and meaningless to them so nobody wins.

Valve didn't have to run every major tournament, but they should've at least been in charge of a couple extra "major" tournaments every year that aren't TI so that all the tournaments and other orgs can schedule and plan around them. Like a summer season, then a winter season. But this also goes back to how Valve's org structure is bad for this shit because they can't have a dedicated "e-sports logistics" department. They might be slightly better than others in their preferred role but a 10k support player is still going to play like a 9k-9.5k core player because they know how to play at that level still. Don't bucket yourself as a supportbitch and then refuse to play 60%-80% of the game. You probably don't know what you can or can't do, and by limiting yourself like this, there are probably gaps in your supporting you don't even know are issues. Most "support" players up to 4k minimum are trash garbage idiots who don't know how to lane, play their hero, or deal with enemy harass. If you are actually better than the 2k shitters you play with, you would easily stomp the lane and climb just from that alone.
