Other gachas usually have some mechanic to refresh old units (PGR's leaps, BA's unique equipment, Arknights' modules, Nikke's treasures, etc.) but it's usually hit-and-miss, virtually never touches or reworks the base kit and is implemented as an extra grindy mechanic to drain your resources.

Just focus on your DPS ones first like the CDMG ones for DEX/INT. It looks like the new O2/O3 keepsakes are only very tiny improvements for minmaxxing so I'd focus on Origin/O1 for most of your used Souls first.
