I kind of acted like a story lock for my friend lol I found out he was doing BoC before Slasher and I felt that doing so would make slasher more boring so I thankfully convinced him to abort. Helps that he made the wrong choice and ended up in the for real Eva ghost route so he would’ve had to start over anyways lol.

Also got him to do KG even though he didn’t want to do anything not required by the locks but I mentioned it’s heavily spoiled by the lock route anyways so should definitely check it out. I left it up to chance but he did manage to get Zombies before Killer too.

In the Mystery route, you are teased with someone not being who they seem, and then before you - easily, trivially - can investigate further, it says "lol go find out elsewhere." It's just a random cockblock.

It’s pretty easy to understand why it’s there, it’s to not spoil Kako G, the G’ie, time hopping, and Takumi getting memories of other routes out of nowhere. If written to not be locked there would be no info available for you to come up with the answer “possessed Kako” solely in that one route. At the very least you need BoC. SF being locked makes sense because Takumi then proceeds forward with all the memories from those routes that you the player just did.

Kamyuhn has no real plan to defeat her was just praying LDA mutual killed her.
From what I remember, everyone at LDA is dead and it's heavily implied that the resistance is wiped out. Humanity has lost any chance to defeat the futurans and will die on the satellite while Takumi and Eva wander naked through a desert.

While it's technically possible some deus ex machina could save them all things are not heading in a happy direction. Highest hope is Eva and Takumi disappear into the wilds and live out their lives as a hermit family.

Yeah, to be clear i don't think any of the Retsnom endings are "good" endings for her anyway. Feel like the one in KG is probably the best she has. Also, a large portion of the route's problems could've been avoided if Takumi wasn't a retard anyway. I don't know if it'd work but they couldve tried throwing the 2LDA bodies on the bus before driving back. Shouma probably could;ve picked a bunch up with one hand because he's got a fucking mech lmao.

She's my fav so I'm biased but it sucks that she's dead in like 3/4 of the endings of her own route and ambiguously dead in the last.

I’ll tell you this much. I fell in love with Darumi due to Retsnom, before that I was finding her really annoying and then KG started to make me hate her with getting inbetween Takumi and Tsubasa.

Now she’s my favorite and TakuDaru are my favorite couple now that I now the real her (and I’m a straight male), but this isn’t the first time Kodaka got me with a reveal. In Rain Code I was so not looking forward to hanging out with Vivia and was annoyed and didn’t give a shit about him, but once you do his chapter, man I really ended up liking him too. Became one of my favorites of the story for pretty much the same reasons as Darumi and they’re kind of similar with how kind they actually are. Due to being a guy he is probably more of a turn off to people going in than Darumi but probably just as good at turning people around on him when you do get 1 on 1 time with him.
