Some people wants to go through the story slowly and some people wants to go through story fast. Some people even skips story entirely.

Is better to allow fast progression that way IF you want to take things easy and read half a chapter or one node each day you can do it, and if you want to read it in one go you can do it as well.

Forcing a particular pace is a risky decission because lot of people may not like that.

You get stuff from the tribute and you get stuff from progressing on the story.
And a tiny bit from events and raids

But it reaches a point where you can not progress in the story or the tower cause BP requirements so your only source of materials are tributes.

The only good way of getting materials aside of tributes the only real way is using gems to collect more tribute

Just keep levelling 5 SR characters evenly, or if you have SSR characters with 2 or more Spirit Siphons. Once you unlock the Transfusion Tree (4-5) you can set 5 other SSRs inside and they will follow their levels.
The 5 default story characters should be able to carry you there as long as you keep updating their gear.

It seems the only way to progress, yes.
Until chapter 10 the progress is kind of natural.

But from chapter 11 onwards it demands way too much more progress that what you can progress with tribute.
So you need to couple of days to be able to level up your 5 character a couple of times, progress a bit, then wait another few days.

2k-3k gap in battle power is no problem but 5k gaps on main story nodes with "gimmicks" are a wall.

Everyone was at level 106 a few days ago, and now everyone is at 111 but the BP difference barely changed from 6k difference to 4k difference.

That stage is brutal. My main DPS so far were lamia and van helsing. I had incendiary agares but never used him before, so I decided to try him on this stage and he wrecked it. He even had worse gear and a lower ult level compared to Lamia, and still carried me.

Dalcarlo story's final node has such a bizarre difficulty spike. Everything else has been trivial but these tentacles wipe my entire party in what feels like seconds. It's like battles where I'm at a massive BP deficit, but here I'm above the recd level.

Initially I thought it was their ability which does big damage if they aren't hit in the first 5 seconds, so I put in some extra AoE to get them all, but that just made the death faster. No idea what I'm missing.

It's the opposite, you only need to roll once since the extra stats from dupes aren't important.

You only need to level 5 characters, these levels carry on the others.

You will need eventually 5 characters with +3 copies each, but those can be from the general pool, since you get a lot of those and there are shards on the shop. You don't need them to be from the rateup banner-

So only with ONE COPY of the character in limited banner and you can max it. The extra copies only give you marginal stat increase, not necessary at all.

Now, since the rateup is 4% and the chances 50% once you hit 4% getting 4 copies is fairly easy with a bit of luck.
I got 3 Dacarlo copies already from free rolls, just one more to go.

In other words, you can MAX any character with just one copy. But you will need to have other 5 characters maxed to that (which is not hard).

Extra copies from limited is just a tiny bit of extra stats

I can't talk about Nikke because I don't play it.

You can play the first two chapters in a roll. Then the other chapters you don't even need to level or worry because for those you are given leveled units to play the story of those chapters.

The only thing that hinders your progression is that chapters are divided into zones and ocasionally it forces to wait for the next reset to play the next zone. But that's it.

The new story arcs are also time locked a bit, though. But I do not consider it hindering.

Drops 4 items per run, each item gives you 35 drops, So each run is 140 drops. You can run it 5 times so its 700 drops.

Since its two events you can get a grand total of 1400 each day (unless you are willing to expend gems buying tickets like >>530814339 suggested ).

Then again you need 4k blue drops per character you want to get past 120

There is also tribute and all the other daily rewards, so pretty much you need an entire day for each character you want to level. Since its 5 characters you need about 5 days

It's 900 gems, 3 entire rolls for 180 hours worth of blue blood which comes out at 6300 blue blood + another 675 from the currency you get in those stages. It's roughly 7000 blue blood just from expending 3 rolls on each event. You're insane if you tell me that's not worth it.

I rerolled two days ago for an Ancestral and it took me about approximately a dozen tries until I finally got one. Don't pick a name until you get what you want, you can just click out of that ecreen. You can also quit the section with the Mausoleum. You'll want to get to 1-5 which takes about 20-25 minutes.

I got Limine and she's stupidly powerful, so it thankfully worked out for me. Some of the Ancestrals are more support focused so you'd still need to fish for a Van Hellsing or someone similar.
