Like this is a perfect example of what I'm talking about. Lufel's voice actor does a decent job with this bit, but even this is just a rehash of Morgana trying to talk like a gentleman and not being able to pull it off because he's too young to really get it in the original game. Lufel doesn't fit P5 as a whole nearly as well, but even setting that aside these equivalents to Morgana he has baked into his personality make him much less of a character also. Getting annoyed that his vocabulary is too old for the kids does nothing for him as a character and it doesn't feed into anything else that happens with him either, especially not that incredibly truncated scene where he asks Wonder and Motoha how much he's really helping at the halfway point of Kiuchi's Palace which was another very poorly recycled thing from Morgana's existing character.
