Fuck this just happened to me this week, who the fuck approved this design flaw? I quick summoned Azure Eyes to protect my monsters from the destruction of True Light, then I find out it needs a moment to actually activate its effect it doesn't just fall already turned on once it touches the field.

I don't think non-OPT or OPT cards should even fucking exist. It should all be HOPT.
In fact, I think Konami should just unify the game by streamlining card design. Negating the activation vs negating the effect for example. Pick one, and use that forever. Ignore the other one for the rest of time. Much like missing the timing on key effects, it should be treated as a relic of the past.
Same goes for discard vs send from hand to GY. Same for whether stuff should target or not, none of this "Special Summon 1 banished monster" vs "Target 1 banished monster; Special Summon it".
I just want them to pick a fucking lane and stick to it rather than leave a schizo mess that confuses both new and experienced players. There are so many little tiny rulings and nitpicks in language that it just makes the game a chore to understand and explain to the opponent.
Like I play Centur-Ion and having to explain to people that no, my card being a Monster Card and being a monster are different. No, you cannot use stuff that negates monster effects on my Continuous Trap Centur-Ion. No you cannot use cards that negate Trap Cards on my Continuous Trap Centur-Ion. No, you cannot negate the Level modulation of my Centur-Ion that recently summoned itself. No, your card that tried to pop my Continuous Trap Centur-Ion doesn't pop it, because I made it a monster and now its a "different card". etc. etc.

Pendulum is already a complicated as fuck mechanic, adding on specific zone placement fucking up your combos would only have made it worse.
Not to mention, Pendulum was still in the era where placement didn't matter for shit and people just slapped their shit anywhere. Back then, I played with cards before they were even released in English and played with rules that would make a judge weep. But the love never left me. Why would you not make Full Speed Warrior also buff Synchrons if you wanted to support Junk Warrior getting a big ATK stat

It was always gonna be a power of fellows/big ass swing related eff, but it feels like it could have a third eff on it, seems very barren. I still feel that way about the Jack SD RDA.

Great card, no complaints
I love Yusei.dek before it became Stardust/etc. focused, I'm very satisfied. I hope the obligatory trap carries that "impossibly specific but broken when it goes off" feel that all of Yusei's S1/early 5D's traps had. It's probably gonna be Scrap Iron Scarecrow related, probably in the same way that Jack SD had a Fiendish Chain setting Trap.

I love how konami actually gave yusei proper synchro support instead of just printing more boss monsters. well done konami.

It sounds weird considering you could just buy 1-2 SDs in theory which is pro-consumer, but I dislike when they go here's 3x Sage w/ Eyes of Blue/Junk card/etc. Half the point of SDs outside the new slots is reprints that hasn't seen the light of day in years, it takes a lot of slots away from that.

So with speed warrior retrain searching scrap fist + giving everything 900 atk, junk warrior should usually be around 10k atk. The SD is an otk turbo as expected but much better than another redundant stardust boss
