Alright I know I said this literally 10 hours ago, when I resumed crafting this. But im actually like extremely close to hitting the drop rate. I’ve failed a good 5 attempts which were very solid efforts. Thats actually over drop rate, but my RuneScape days basically. The theory is that you have to be double drop rate to actually be almost gaurenteed to get the drop. So that’s craft number 6. I got pretty lucky a few times with my other crafts. I guess I’ll hold off till im 4 times drop rate before I start screaming. It’s very time consuming I guess, I missed out on like 8 hours of mapping lol. So if you fail to recombine something, and you get a 1p1s. And you have a 1p and 1s already saved? Now you need to create another 1p and 1s and to be efficient, and only use the 1p1s if you fail to recombine and second time. Or you can recombine it with a 1mod 1enchant item for the 50/50 chance at a 2mod, but this results in lower efficiency since you have a higher chance at losing your second mod. The end result is like 10 of these fuckers sitting around. Similar deal with trying to craft a 3p2s and you keep getting 1p2s instead of 2p1s. Bumping up a 4p pool, to a 5p pool using an enchant, will almost double your chances of getting 3 mods. But at a price. Youre now selecting from a pool of 4 mods, and one of them has aids. But that’s only a 25% chance, because all the mods are chosen at once. So you have to enchant, because the 5p pool is better. It is not worth it to do 2 prefix enchants on a 4p, because a 6p pool with 2 aids mods will not be better than a 5p pool of the same stuff. And if you have a 3p pool of only 2 mods with 1 repeated. The outcome barely changes like you can enchant it or don’t. But if you can bump it up to a 5 pool which is the magic pool, especially if you have 2 mods of the same name and 1 other. Your chances go up. This can happen from time to time through recombining different enchants. Never use the same enchant on different bases in the opposite pool.

So for prices to be this cheap basically, there’s a tremendous amount of people who have never been to the endgame. They still can’t quite comprehend that you make like 350 div an hour. And to them, a stack of chaos orbs is like a golden dragon statue with amethyst eyes that when you press them leads to an underground pool system. And these people are parting with many of their crafting ingredients for much less than what us endgame folk would consider selling our own for. Honestly a chisel is probably worth around 5 divines at current drop rates. So these people basically are getting their chisels in yellow maps, like at least a hundred thousand people are doing this every day where they load up the game dude do a couple yellow maps, sell their chisel for what they believe is a fair rate to people like me. And, they’re satisfied with that because their brains just can’t make the connection. Use the fucking thing on the fucking map. If you were doing that, you’d end up buying literally thousands of chisels because you don’t get nearly enough. They’re like 10 times rarer than a chaos orb. You do not need extra mobs, and obviously you do not care about abyss jewels.
Scaling pack size of abyss mobs is a rookie mistake some streamers do, I tested both verions. 90% of your valuable drops come from hoardes, not mobs.
