I never cared about the thread, I gave up on FMC progressing because leadership simply refused to do anything, ever.
The officers are unable or unwilling to have anything happen and feedback is ignored entirely at best - then when you quit it is said that you never voiced your concern, this couldnt be further from the truth. This is said a lot and just shows how oblivious they are to the reality of things.
Best example was the initial attempt at naxx, where it was decided not to recruit people for the roster and to collaborate with other guilds instead.
This was intended to happen for ES hardmode already which as everyone will know by now, never happened and it was never even tried. From what I heard indii was surprised to hear of this later, so you can imagine how many attempts were made to have this happen.
A few days before naxx was meant to happen, the new cope on the block was to simply recruit pugs to fill atleast 30 spots - I dont need to tell you that this was scrapped entirely and yesterday has shown that they would rather go as 20 than to even try

I have heard from multiple people that FMC was always intended to be a waste-water collection basin of sorts, a place where everyone is welcome simply because he is an "anon" that isnt being accepted anywhere else, which was the only constant you would get, this meant that it was unavoidable that you would end up with massive pricks that you were forced to accomodate at any time, no matter what.
Maybe this was meant to be an attempt at philantrophy, but I can tell you, in other guilds we have/had questionable characters that were kept around, as a mascot of sorts, but if they refused to behave they were simply kept out of the raids, if you feel like giving them a home, then the guild itself is enough, there is no reason this has to take place in raids.
Another thing is, I get that many members enjoyed the time when people just did dungeons together and slowly progressed their characters to get them raid ready, but people aren't going to spam UBRS 20 times a day for Dal'Rends when they can just go BWL/AQ40 and get a much better weapon there, we arent perpetually stuck in early phase 1 on a fresh server.
Ironically, this mindset is usually voiced by people who are the biggest raidloggers of them all, its none of the people you see in DM/BM/Strat/Scholo regularly.
I guess one has only themselves to blame for joining and staying, aswell as not making an anon guild that works differently, even if it is not clearly telegraphed that this is how FMC is ran, you should probably put up a disclaimer for anons that are contemplating to join, or not, they are going to figure it out sooner rather than later.

In no guild does everyone get along. The unique aspect of a /wpsg/ guild that sets it apart from others is the thread. With the help of anonymity, players are able to vent their frustrations about other players without receiving any comeuppance for saying things they shouldn't. Even in whispers and private chats, players in a normal guild will be guarded what they say lest it be leaked. But here on 4chan you can say whatever you'd like about whatever you want and, unless you really fuck up and tip your hand a bit too hard, you won't really get caught. You also have some people from outside the guild who capitalize on whatever tidbits of info they can gather from the thread to troll. For instance, in the case of Telegethu, I mentioned they were a bad shaman but a good tank a few threads back, and one of Tele's haters told me Tele has never tanked before because they're a shaman. It's not possible for healers to dispel the curse on all party members, so you either have to stun/interrupt the boss or use personal defensive cooldowns. This mechanic alone will filter 80% of WoW players.

This is what I've gathered after only 15 mins of researching this server. It's beyond poorly designed. I get class tuning being hard but it's not hard to find the most fun iterations of each spec and make changes to the game so they play the same way. I can forgive devs for being bad at balancing because numbers are really hard to get correct because of drastically different damage profiles BUT to make specs incredibly boring to play on purpose?
