no, there's no immediately tangible benefit. I'd advise doing it at least until you stop seeing things that surprise you and you're used to how the game plays. It teaches some fundamentals you can get used to a bit easier

Which skip do you mean? Are you playing the grid based thing and talking about having it auto the battles for you?
It can just result in more hp damage / student deaths or slower clears.
There are event challenges that required you to do all the battles in a certain time, which it can be worse for, and it can often do a worse job of keeping your students health if you're underleveled etc.

I think I only skipped when I was overleveled and going back to 3* old stages and knew it wouldn't cost me a death.

If you're trying to be VERY sweaty getting multiple pinks, especially Shun since she can't be farmed is nice. Shunis only really useful for pvp and rare raids though, she won't help your early game.

Mutsuki and Aru are very good early game units - they're what I started off with, just 1 pink and it was Aru. I was happy with what I had, there's much worse.

If you want to sit around rerolling there are better options, but what you have is fine - you can just get on with playing the game and trying to get enough rolls together for blufes - having a spark for that will be better than minmaxing your first 10 pull.

Skip battle doesn't inherently lose you anything, no.
If you're having students die and that costs you the 3* or makes you unable to finish the entire stage then that's when you're losing stuff, you can probably do better than the AI playing manual, but you'll presumably notice when that's happening.
If everything is going smoothly then yes, auto is good for saving time and monotony.

Serious. Serina is a 1* unit that is incredibly useful, moreso than plenty of 2* or 3* characters. All characters can also be upgraded to 5* regardless of initial rarity.

iirc you can save a pull and do re-rolls and pick the one you want.
If you're talking about actual pulls you should be saving as many rolls as you can for the anniversary in just over a week.

Serina is the best healer early and is useful at end game for repositioning, but she's a 1* so you're going to get her soon.

I'll also note I personally put Maki (redhead girl on the bottom tier) slightly above Hina because I consider Hina to be virtually useless whereas Maki is definitely a unit who never stops seeing use in some capacity. In other words, were this not a "What's good to first get for your guarantee at start?" list, Maki would be at the top in S tier for usefulness along with Shun and Aru, but since you can very easily get Maki I put her at the bottom.
Hina, the last listed student, is free but really not good. Very early on people rated her highly because high cost, high power, but it was steadily revealed that in most cases single target, low cost is the meta in BA. Furthermore her AOE is quite bad. She has SOME uses, but not many, and most want her only because she's Hina.

Everyone else in the bottom tier is actually quite useless in terms of meta only. Haruna? I only used her in year 1 of the game. Shiroko? I use her sometimes, but really shouldn't (low damage, slow ex, no unique powers)--Karin is the only one with genuine use (against Hod mainly) but it's a weird use and maldy.

In my 20s, I worked at Tim Hortons for about 6 years. I started out as a cashier and worked my way up to Assistant manager. Our owner and boss was probably one of the best bosses I've ever had. Duplicates are good but you can buy the currency that duplicates give from the shop, so you never actually need to roll a character more than once, actually rolling a dupe just gives you some more of the currency but you get plenty.

AP income varies massively depending on level, that's why you're being told to rush main missions for cafe upgrades, because it increases energy generation.
Some people even advise spending pyros on energy refreshes - I know I did when I started, because the increase in content you can do earns you more than the pyros you spent.
The cost increases though so you can't do it much before it becomes a bad deal and I don't really want to go advising people do that incase they manage to find a way to fuck themselves.
More energy will always be useful early for translating into more rolls, but I've personally never bought the AP pack so I can't advise.

iirc it's accessed by clicking your energy and it'll over to replenish some of it for pyros.
Like I said though, I'm reluctant to go advising newfags piss around with that since you could hypothetically not benefit if it doesn't enable you to do something you otherwise wouldn't, but when I started it was a longer span of time to blufes so getting higher earlier allowed me to clear a lot more event missions / raids than I might have otherwise.

I spent a lot of AP farming Yuuka and Tsubaki to 5* and then UE40+ when I started because they were regularly seeing use and were meta in pvp, though they're not quite as meta currently.

If you really wanted to be optimal sweat you technically get some benefit from saving the shards until after you've rolled them but don't worry about that - you'd need to have enough shards TO redeem a student before that was something to think about.

I don't like how the art is inconsistent across different characters. It just screams low quality and vexes me greatly.

cHibiki is probably an improvement despite her EX's overcost. mYuzu or sMiyu will be a better special than anything you have and sShizuko is probably better than Chinatsu as a sustain. tHasumi is better than any striker you have, though I think some newfags were struggling to get her thanks to the recap events endboss, but something to work towards.
Even weaker units like sIzumi and Michiru will probably beat some of your strikers for the early content because at least they're red.

The main benefit Hoshino would bring on yellow is when you come across the yellow robots that plant a shield that gives them reduced damage taken - her ex can stun them out of that.

No. Recommended levels have a reputation for being an absolute meme around here - you can and should be able to push even bigger gaps than that. You will be getting 100 free pulls over the course of Seias banner though that can't be carried into a different one, so you have to use them there.

The advice is always that you wait for the 100 free rolls (which come in over the course of 7 days) and see if you get Seia from those 100 free rolls - if you don't, then you can decide if you want to put 100 more in to hit pity or if you'd rather use all of your rolls on the anniversary that will be 1 day later.

Seems like a 1:1 copy of the mobile version to me but I barely played the mobile version.
It runs fine but the assets are designed for 1080p so they're a bit blurry. Also the game is LOUD AS FUCK and you can't turn it down until the intro is done. Also I have an i7-14700k, RTX 4070 and 64 GB of RAM so my computer might not be the best benchmark.
