Despite being cookie cutter motivational stuff it matches the club/spokon feeling the squad gives off. Quite like this one.

A good double meaning in the first part, and a second part that can be taken positively or negatively. Matches the Ohshima girls, and overall very clever.
>31-F: We Live Better - Courage is like love; it must have hope for nourishment.
First half must be one of the most badass lines ever written. Second half is very poetic. When you consider the squad it belongs to, makes sense for it to be so cool and charming. My favorite one.
>31-X: Excelsior! - Unglücklich da Land, das Helden nötig hat.
While fun to say, Excelsior isn't particularly unique. I actually really like the meaning of the 2nd part (Unhappy is the country that needs heroes). It's a great reflection on what it means to be a hero in the first place, and it highlights their international nature. Not sure why it is German when none of the girls are though.

Faith is powerful, and goes well with the themes of being the last squad of the previous generation. I also like the dual approach of the 2nd part, and it reinforces the faith idea. Quite good, imo.

I think the parts where it's a battle and they're giving orders are pretty cringe. Based on those convos it seems like it's mostly on physical ability and their talents. Yuki does callouts, Karen and Megu frontline, Tama I guess just stands around and doesn't die, while Ruka plays the hero. All the squads have their own dynamics and it's not equal based on the squad. Pretty sure X is canonically just shitty at working together even though they should have high combat strength.

The weapons seem random. I think they mention Ruka having dual blades be really rare. But they never go into the mechanics of weapons and give them pros/cons like a list of weapon types in Monster Hunter. Huge missed opportunity.

I'd say a split between support and damage. You already confirmed 3 are offense, but 2/3 of them are also squad leaders so they can't solely focus on that. Meanwhile, Karen-Chan (not Karen) is shown time and time again to be inferior to her partner Awakened Tsukasa. So she also fits with Kura, Isuzu, and again Wakki who focus a good amount of effort on supporting their designated partners (Mona, Ichiko, and Bungo respectively). This is niche but unique; only one other unit has this (Vritika SS2). When needed, Debuff Guard is unparalleled, but frankly you won't need it very often (if at all). She has a fairly useful common skill that has decent DR when attacking weak (Fire or Crush), and this can actually be pretty amazing for any Aoi as long as she’s hitting weakness, essentially turning her into a Blaster Lite. Aoi SS3 can also be useful in Fire teams in need of sustain (if you also own SS1).

Ichigo SS2 is actually a very competent Fire AOE Attacker. Her EX skill has a baked-in 3x40% funnel, and her common skill grants 5x10% funnel, which allows all Ichigo Memorias to run without Yingxia SS1. However, every self-funneling unit that does not grant themselves at two stacks of 3x40 funnel loses their advantage when Ruka SS5 comes out, who grants a single stack 3x80% funnel to any unit. Additionally, AOE damage dealers are slightly less valuable as AOE boss fights are relatively rare, and in a single target situation she will lose to Ruka SS1, Ruka SS4, Yuri SS1, and so on.

Also keep in mind, the current high-value banner containing Tama SS5 is still ongoing at the time of those post, and Thunder players should know that Thunder Weakness Overwriter Charlotta SS2 is coming on July 25.

There are 3 things that matter for the team building for gig.
1. Team rating. The higher, the more score you get in general.
2. Classes. They all have skills and some of them will trigger for a few seconds on yellow notes
Attackers/Breakers: Pink skill, increases score on perfects
Blasters: Orange skill, increases combo score bonus
Healers: Cyan skill, restores energy.
Defender: Violet skill, prevents losing energy for failing.
Buffers: Blue skill, increases score but less than condition-based classes.
Debuffer: Yellow skill, any non miss will be counted as perfect.
Some of the characters have off-class skills, so I included colors too.
3. Squad leader and squads. Squad leaders have unique skill that increases the effect of all skills of their squad members. So, ideally, you want to play as a full team, but that obviously not always possible or optimal, so at least try to match more important skills.

It's actually an insane change. They were releasing OD generators on JP like candy and the meta completely shifted, but now you can't even OD3 + OD1 anymore because of the cooldown.
