Crafting Process:

1. Buy tons of ilvl 83+ 30% quality Reaver Axes

2. Beast Craft split the unsplit bases with Black Mórrigans and Fenumal Plagued Arachnids

3. Alt spam bases until they have t1 flat Phys (flaring), t1/t2 hybrid % phys (Dictator's/Emperor's), or t1/t2 % phys (Merciless/Tyrannical)

4. Recombinate until every base has 2 of the prefixes mentioned in step 3.

5. Recombinate until I hit triple prefix

6. Elder Exalted Orb (making sure one suffix stays open)

7. Craft Prefixes Cannot be Changed + harvest reforge phys

8. Repeat said process 9x times until the suffixes fill.

9. Hinekora's Lock + Annul to ensure prefixes stay

10. Decide to craft the safe way with Prefixes Cannot be Changed + Scour + Craft attack speed + exalt twice then repeat

11. Hit Phys/Bleed Cull suffix

12. Clean suffixes with Cannot Roll attacks and annul the other mod

13. Craft Multimod + Prefixes cannot be changed + Veiled Exalted Orb

14. Got lucky and didn't poof the phys suffix. Crafted Damage per Endurance Charge, then unveil Dex/Int + Attack Speed

15. Tempering Orb until Physical Modifier Magnitudes

16. Divine Prefixes, then prefixes can't be changed and divine suffixes

17. Craft Phys dot multi + use Omen of Blanching for 3x white sockets

Total cost:

I'm not completely sure because the process took so long, but somewhere in the ballpark of 300 divines or so. The process also took place over days and maybe took about 10 hours of alt spamming + crafting. It cost about 1m gold and ~1-2m dust for recombinating and Faustus purchases.

I don't understand this game, I ran roughly 40 T16 6+ mods maps with and the best drops I got in all runs were chaos orbs and ritual splinters.

An armor stacker at the 1,5 mirror investment is absolutely cracked already.

Every league there has always been a farm that comes out that is over tuned. Every league there is a way, even if it takes a 100-200 hundred divines to do it, for solo players to hyper juice. This league needed the few skills that could for less than a mirror. This league also hyper buffed group play. This has made the few non-hyper juice content routes (like ethereal all flames) unsustainable for non-party play. Since these will be a core part of the game (and the only change to mapping for almost 2 full years now) I really hope GGG guts group quantity bonuses.

As it stands, one map of these all flames is roughly 6.3 divines + map rolling costs so roughly 7.5 divines total. As a solo player you would be lucky to break 6div a map in returns. In a group? Well you can profit 15 divines a map easily.

This is the exact same thing that happened to divination card farming. You used to be able to solo farm a full set of apothecary in 1-2 months of GRINDING. Now with the best solo juicing available you would be lucky to get 1-2 cards in the same time frame. I tried farming taste of hare cards last league and found 5 taste of hare before I found 2 of it’s respective cards. Party quant has over simplified the game and all farming strategies so much that “the best solo farm” has been to open strongboxes for almost 2 full years now. Ever single farmable thing has been hyper nerfed to extinction because of the idea that a 6 player group needs to earn 6-20x the loot of a solo player. The reward of group play used to be that you could do harder content (like empy’s current group) which is fine. But giving them access to content you cannot solo farm AND THEN giving them 10-20x the normal loot that farm should produce has made almost every single farming strategy in this game exactly the same in terms of profit regardless of market demand with the exception of the only “high potential solo content” which is opening strongboxes boxes.

i'm convinced the silo strat is literally rigged or bugged for me. i tried doing it last league, got no maps or chisels. this time it's literally the same.

there are a bunch of problems here, imo the biggest one is that the usual challenge / loot scaling is not the same as the party bonuses. theres literally a "monsters have 100% more life" modifier in the game and it gives you far less than the party modifier despite partying obviously making you stronger. think about that for a moment, it would be better to run a 5 mod map with the party modifier than the same map + the more monster life mod even if the guy does nothing. thats not good.
difficulty vs reward scaling in poe is usually like "the content is 2x as hard and drops 10% more loot" so that extremely geared players dont farm that much faster than people with mediocre gear. as a result party players cant just do harder content with their added strength and instead they need this stupid party loot buff but its just fundamentally broken

Since the introduction of T17 every build NEEDS to have cap spell suppression, high multi-hit mitigation and Endurance charge generation

Spell Suppresion: I don't like how 100% spell suppression is completely mandatory, I wish there was a left side keystone that had a downside related to spell suppression and a up side to mitigate spell damage.

Endurance charge: I guess the buff (ele dmg taken reduction) to it was to make it the "left side spell suppression" but since they can easily coexist and how hard it is to get phys dmg reduction, every build needs them

Multi-hit mitigation: This to me is the most boring, T17 can have some insanely fast hitting monsters, doesn't matter if your character has 200k armor, 90% all res, you will be paper against a pack of hasted + extra proj white bois, or even just a single soul eater rare. Every build needs one of these: true cap block (or a little less with Svalinn), glancing block + recovery on block, defiance of destiny (or similar effects), there are only a few exceptions with very specific synergies that don't need one of these (some CI builds)

I'm sorry but, as much as this game has to offer. And as enjoyable as it can be at times. And as much as I want to play it. I just can't bring myself to anymore. I've tried to stick at it, I've really tried. I've tried to ignore its problems, but ultimately I can't anymore because it simply does not respect my time at all and this actually makes me sad. Maybe this sounds strange to some people. If so, thats fine, but you need to understand that to some people time investment is important and when you put your time into something you love and that thing you love does not respect you for it, it doesn't feel good.

Anyway, I've been grinding most days in my free time for a couple of months and have gotten a lot of enjoyment out of the game and honestly the best thing about it for me has been the anticipation of being able to play around with countless different build variations in the future. When I started mapping I told myself this was the game I was going to stick to. The game I was going to play indefinitely. Which is something I've been searching for, for a long time. Because quite frankly, most video games today are bad. Especially when it comes to ARPGs. But yeah, thats been the main driving force of my desire to play, the excitement in regards to the exploration of builds and feeling like when I max one toon I can build another completely differently, start fresh and have an entirely new experience. I was so excited about this game I spent around £100 on stash tabs fully believing I would be playing this game for years. But now honestly I regret my investment and I feel like I made a bad choice investing and this adds another layer of sadness to my experience.

I've not even maxed one toon yet, and the game has already gotten me down. Today for example. I spent 10-12 hours levelling doing t10-t11-t12-t13-t14-t15 maps, I was having such a good day, I was enjoying the game so much. I went from 88-89, then 60% towards level 90 and saw legitimate progression which made me feel good, but then it was taken from me through no fault of my own. I have over 100% resistances, I have tons of armour, 5k hp. yet I'm still being one shot by offscreen invisible projectiles, melee hits when enemies are not visibly in range of me and I should be out of their melee hit range especially when they're a fucking koala bear with no reach. I lost that 68% due to a combination of lag, desync, and the above mentioned issues. None of which were my fault. It was not my connection, I tested. Every single time I died and lost a percentage of my hard earned exp, it was because of an issue the game has. This is not fair, this is not respectful to my time. Especially when this sort of loss negatively incentivises you to play even more, and negatively encourages you to become even more addicted than you may or may not already be, because you desperately want to regain your losses.

I think everyone who reads that last part will know what I mean. When you get to that level of investment, that sweet spot of having put so much into the game you don't want to leave (especially if part of your investment has been money) - but the game is making you want to leave by not respecting your time. But you don't because of the time you've already invested. I felt for me personally it was like the game was giving me a choice, do I put my respect for myself first, or my love for the game first. And then it hit me, the only reason I would carry on playing despite these issues is addiction or compulsion. On principle I shouldn't play anymore, regardless of how I feel. And then I was saddened even more because I felt as though the game had been set up specifically to make me feel like this. To negatively incentivise me, or manipulate me into investing more into the game the more I lost, and thats why the losses are there in the first place. And perhaps why there are so many issues that result in those losses, that impact gameplay on the most basic levels in negative ways.

I do like how this game forces you to learn how to take an L and keep moving foward regardless. But it takes it way too far. Hours and hours of work should absolutely under no circumstances be taken from you for the sake of game-side issues. This simply isn't fair and as I've said, isn't respectful of player time. I thought highly of GGG until today, I thought highly of Chris after listening to interviews while I played. But after I came to that final realisation that I am feeling coerced through negative incentivisation based on the time I've already spent in game, and to recoup losses, I just felt sad, and I knew I had to leave.

I have 10% reduced flask charges used from tree, 15% reduced flask charges used from gem quality, so that's 0.85*0.9=0.765 flask charges used per flask per projectile, so 2.295 flask charges used in total per projectile.
Then I have 65% increased flask charges gained from tree, and 40% flask charge recovery on flask, those should also be multiplicative, so 2.31 flask charges per attack? This should be sustainable with 1 projectile, assuming I always hit.

I believe poe should just be 18 skills, 6 selfcast spells, 6 ranged attacks, 6 melee attacks. The only way to increase the damage of these are through attack speed/cast speed, crit, and generic damage modifiers.

Let's cut down the number of builds to 30% of most played main skill gems, those being: volcanic fissure of snaking (9%), forbidden rite of sovl stealing (8%), righteous fire (6%) and kinetic blast (6%).

Maybe they just farmed a shitload of lab. There's a super rare divine font option that lets you convert gem xp to character xp. It's so rare people tell me i'm making it up even though it's on the wiki. Get some lv21 corrupted gems from div cards, turn them into facetor's lenses, max out your enlighten or whatever else has an insanely high xp cap, convert the maxed out enlighten to character xp.

It could work and wouldn't require a great build.

I sure as hell don't wanna recast WO every few steps. A good uptime ensures a smooth experience

Just because the DPS numbers look good, doesn't mean the clear speed will be. You need to invest into extra projectiles and increased AoE for that, but I will give you it's not that big of a problem. Still, you have to consider so many things just to make the skill WORK, it's why I call it unplayable. The juice is not worth the squeeze

So with recombining we have 2 options. Doing both mods on the same side is way way cheaper, over 4 times cheaper (in dust). But, it takes twice as many items. So if you’re doing more common mods, it’s technically more efficient to do the same sides. But for rarer mods yeah you basically have to do the expensive option because it’s over twice as likely to succeed. Yeah and doing the 3 crafted mod suffix and one prefix strategy is efficient on rare phys mods, but probably not worth doing on other more common mods. 5 mod pool is the most efficient pool, it’s twice as good as a 4 mod pool. A 6 mod pool is barely better. A 2 mod pool and a 3 mod pool are very comparable, and it’s likely worth gambling on a 2 mod pool if you have a 5 mod pool on the other side. Yeah I think that’s recombining. Unless anyone has anything to add, id love to hear your input.

Yeah so this is the strategy basically

-recombine 1 mod feeder bases with opposite sides
-recombine these with another 1p1s with totally different mods
-do this until you have a 3mod of any type
-gamble this with a 1p1s feeder mod using the 5pool enchant 2pool strategy
-very likely to hit another 3mod. Just gamble this again since 1p1s feeders are extremely easy to produce, 60% chance
-if you hit a 4mod, just gamble it again even with a 1mod because by this point you’re already extremely close to hitting the drop rate and should just get the drop. Because a 5mod pool and a 2mod pool is around 30% to get the 5 mod item. And to do this twice is 60%. So by your third try you’re already at 90%.
And yeah that’s recombining. Unless somebody has something to add to this. Some more types of manipulation we could do maybe, I dunno.
