I don't like competition because I don't enjoy the environment it creates.
If players have an incentive to metagame a game, then it becomes a countdown to how quickly they can optimize all the fun out of it.
Once a game gets to that point, the only "fun" you can have is becoming a sweaty tryhard putting maximum effort into every single keystroke. I enjoy not having to put in all my time and effort to enjoy a game.

Netracells are easy, they just require an actual mod config on your guns (doesn't have to be all lategame mods, but does have to be well constructed with at least midgame mods) and an understanding of what the defensive options are in Warframe. A lot of the modifiers boil down to you take low but consistent damage.

Cool, I tried it it the first time. Yeah, my gun wasn't doing so great, but it works. I'm really not a fan of Incarnon weapons, the one I'm using is a Burston Prime Incarnon. I really want some kind of AoE weapon though since there's so many enemies. I'm also not used to Revenant yet with his Mesmer Skin, I was cutting it close by not reapplying it sometimes.

I put 4 tauforged greenshards on Grendel and subsoomed roar on him to increase his 4 damage.
But I've run into an issue where every time I cast nourish while roar is active, the enemies just get 1 shot inside Grendel's stomach.

No, because creep means a slow buildup. alot of earlier frames and weapons are near useless even when fully modded with subsumed powers because the enemies were powercrept to offset the new much stronger weaponsand frames. If it hasn't had a rework or a new variant it's got a 90% chance of being fodder, and subsuming powers onto frames is a literal band-aid to cover up how huge a gap there is between old frames and new frames. Oberon is like the posterboy example of this.

I think it also has to do with shots that explode.
If the projectile itself doesn't make contact and big crit, it adds to the crit chance.
