How are you guys going about your extreme calibrations? After getting that 150% average, I'm just maxing % boost and crit damage and leaving everything else to be as is so I can work on as many weapons as possible. Main story is on comparable level to GF1 and I liked GF1 so I'm satisfied with it, events with stories come out more often than in GF1 and depending on whether they're part of main story or side stories, they're either interesting or fun.
I like general aesthetics even though they are leaning more towards coomshit instead of uniforms I like, but if it's nice looking coom, I don't mind. I just wish there was more uniform/combat stuff as well. Like I don't like that much how they cut Springfield's dress, but I like how 416 besides her standard plastic shit has both coom and combat skins.
General gameplay is fine, mechanics and flow feel nice, although it suffers from powercreep spikes introduced by 416. I have no idea what the fuck they were thinking when releasing her in this state. Like, there is no reason to think or make proper team when almost all content can be cleared by 416 as she renders most mechanics useless:

Funsmoke is boring because it's 7 turns of damage sponge beating. There is nothing happening in there, just rotation for 7 turns. If it's just damage race then I guess you could easily fit in in like 5 or less for 1 rotatation as rest is just repeating the samae.
Expandion drills are actually fun with range of objectives, and as long as you don't have/use v6 Kluk, it's nice challenge, although time limits could be tighter.
Boundary push is fun at first but once you upgrade everything, it becomes bossrush once a week. MG is overpowered with its AoE, ARs are basically only to finish off boss and SGs are actually useless. And no idea what melee does in there. But most of time you just pacifistcoom straight to boss. While showing you which room boss is and room being closer to start is fine for shortening "chore", leaving it so effortless turns it into another whatever mode. If you couldn't just zoom past everything without killing any sentries, if alarm triggering was much faster, unlike now where you can basically run through their vision range and leave room before they sound alarm, if sleepers started to actually move and patrol when woken up, it's be more fun. So it's balance and map design issue.
New artifact mode has potential but they'd have to simply fix balance. Right now you OHKO everything with breakstab, and all sets are actually broken.
So yeah, the main problem I see is their inability to balance things out. Classes lost meaning and tanks don't exist.
Gacha being copied from genchink is ehh, it has both good and bad sides but I wish they started to put purple weapons into standard banner as after some time this banner doesn't offer anything besdes getting dupe of QJ/Tololo every 80 rolls. Giving dolls someone's else weapon after playing GF1 feels really bad. And I guess it'd be nice if base Atk difference wasn't so staggering between purple and gold. Bonuses make rarity difference justified enough, especially when some weapons buff whole team.

Fuck no, gacha roguelike modes are abysmal dogshit. They're literary all the same, because you're not even playing the game in any of them.
In this mode I'm not playing a fire team, water team, kluk, or WA. I'm "playing" a fucking stab break set or movement set then pressing auto.
The sets are so ridiculously overpowered it doesn't matter which characters or buffs you pick, and it seems to be a common theme among all gacha roguelike modes, probably because an actual real roguelike with a proper difficulty curve would be complete cancer (honkai 3rd did this, and it was in fact cancer)
So anyway the mode is just another auto chore, but unlike other chores, the time requirement is obscene, and I'm glad this shit is getting canned.
I already quit gachas over roguelike shit before if you're curious.

Because in AK proper map design is what carries the game and keeps it fresh. The only real maps in GFL2 that aren't trivial kill 'em all even with release dolls can be found in PVA and occasionally in drills. There's also that problem that there's nearly no content that's requires level 60 units, you can even do funsmoke with a bunch of lvl 50s decently. There's no point in an intricate map design when whatever is inhabiting it falls over from one attack.

I haven't played in many years but I still haven't played gacha with better gameplay. I loved the way that rare units weren't just stat dumps, but gave you creative ways to play missions. Like pushing enemies into a different pathway, or giving you extra range on healing to increase deployment options, or giving abilities that temporarily increase block capacity. The enemies had thoughtful mechanics too like passing over a tile would make them randomly black or white, and enemies of the same colour coming into contact would explode, or you could bait them back over tiles to stop or make them explode as needed. I am hopeful they will improve the gameplay in Exilium but right now I've never once had to use my brain, maybe in the first week when I didn't know shit but not since then. I have no idea what my dolls even do. I run Mechty and Springfield and just hit auto and don't know why they do what they do or if it's good but I have not been pressed to learn.

Obviously fucking normal games have way better gameplay than gachas, but AK still is one of the better ones when it comes to it. Only other one that really comes to mind is Sword of Convallaria, but it has other issues.

Want doll like Dayan? Make her AR scout.
Want offensive SG like Lotta? Make her sentinel SG.
Want Centaureissi? Support AR with heal skills.
Toned down 416 would fit AR scout just fine.

Are you retarded? Just above I've described example of enmity mechanics which scale damage with lost HP. Current Springfield scales with her own HP too. And base Atk does not equal final damage as you get to play with modifiers, buffs, debuffs and other mechanics. If you want to be able to make anyone do anything, just play UmaMusume. This doesn't work in games where you make teams because teambuilding thrives on synergies, which is why you need to make characters different with each having stregths and weaknesses so they could cover each other weaknesses and amplify strengths.
