It kind of makes sense circumstantially, Dess is implied to have either encountered Gaster in the Shelter or somehow fallen so deep in the dark that she got lost in the code. It's safe to assume the final piece of the prophecy is that The Girl must sacrifice herself. We can deduce this from a few key points.

-Ralsei is adamant that Susie doesn't see the prophecy. This is because it would be directly about her being sacrificed.
-Susie sees the prophecy and breaks the glass for it. She assures Ralsei that it won't happen. This is because she always goes against the grain and tries to be the strong one.
-Upon returning to the light world, the rain has stopped. Susie comments "It smells good after the rain" this is a common trope for characters in media that supposedly don't have a lot of time left and or are aware of their mortality is limited, they start to appreciate the small things and comment on them more, such as the smell after rain.
-Interacting with most things at this point has Susie mention that they have to solve everything tomorrow. Susie even berates Kris for wasting time if they sit at the Onionsan spot. This is another trope for characters that are aware of their impending doom, they start rushing things to try and get everything they want done faster.
-Her last words in the chapter are "We aren't gonna let that happen, right?" she is asking herself. Another common trope for characters that are aware they will die but are adamant they can stop it is to completely second guess their ability to avoid it when alone.

Now with all of this info, I think it's safe to say that The Girl finds Love only to have to sacrifice herself. But I also think we can agree that Susie is NOT The Girl in the prophecy, but it's actually Noelle.

And The Man says that whatever happened to him has rendered it impossible for him to communicate normally in the world of Deltarune - he can only speak to us outside of the game, or in extremely strange circumstances that shouldn't exist within it. Similarly, "The Voice" does not speak to us within "the game" itself, only in the layers above or below it like in the save menu, the credits or pulling us aside in a Game Over.

Personally THE WORLD REVOLVING is my favorite but I agree about BIG SHOT too. Your ability to grow stronger is directly linked with the ability to sever bonds with Darkners(and potentially lightners. Coincidentally(or perhaps purposefully), it's the same chapter you can do snowgrave. My personal theory is that the soul, by growing stronger and severing bonds, is also simultaneously and ironically growing "colder". By the time of chapter 4, I believe the soul has gained enough power to actually suppress Kris temporarily.
HOWEVER! They are correct that Kris could have stopped Snowgrave. Kris continues to show the ability to pull out the soul and resist irregardless because they have demonstrated this ability even on the chapter 4 weird route. They can overpower and resist you but doing so repeatedly is probably more difficult.
It's implied by Eram that Kris actually enjoyed the weird route on some level though simply won't admit it to themselves. If you want to be a little meta, if the soul actually belongs to Kris then that bathroom scene is a great display of self loathing and self harm.
It'd also re-contextualize the scene with Noelle as Kris literally giving in to his darker impulses.

This whole "violent tendencies"/"intrusive thoughts" interpretation would be fine and good in a normal story or even most other games, but in this game YOU the player are your own character, YOU are controlling Kris against their will, YOU reveal YOURSELF to Noelle before YOU make her EQUIP the ring, and Kris hates YOU for what YOU did
Focusing on these inferred elements of Kris's character is just laundering YOUR own agency in making Kris take these actions and pushing YOUR responsibility onto Kris. The "Kris could have stopped us at any time if they wanted to!" shit is some next level autism.

Noelle explicitly describes Kris' voice in the Weird Route as being "weak and shaky", implying they're much weaker without us than with, and we don't know how much effort it takes to rip/keep us out. Plus, I'm not sure if it would be *that much less traumatizing* for Noelle if, instead of forcing the thornring back on her finger, Kris physically tore us out of themself in front of her.

Also, it's not obvious that Kris knows what we're going to do, or how far we're going to go, until we've already done it. Up until the titular Snowgrave actually happens, is Kris confident that it's worth jeopardizing their whole mission, everything they've got planned, potentially including what they've got going on with the Knight, just to stop us from scaring Noelle? And once the Snowgrave has already happened and Noelle has wandered off, does tearing us out retroactively fix the damage we've already done?

I think that is for all intensive purposes ignoring part of what makes the weird route so special. We aren't just hurting people, it isn't a generic "Doing evil because we can"
If it was? We'd just go around murdering people. We could just have it be a geenric genocide route where we go murder lightners.
The weird route however is so disgusting (and amazing) BECAUSE these are all thoughts and parts of these people we are twisting and warping. We are forcing Kris to become the version of themselves they chose to suppress and they hate that some twisted part of them enjoys it. We are doing what Noelle did to HER games to her, we are exploiting and toying with her, we are warping her wish to be able to make it snow whenever she wants, we are making her dependent on us for strength.
The weird route is so interesting BECAUSE it is more than just murder, more than just genocide. I understand I did all these actions, I chose those choices, I pressed the button, and I could backout anytime I wanted, however I think it is way more interesting if Kris has more conflict than just "I don't want you to hurt my friends" because duh, of course they don't! But Kris feeling a level of horror as they realize a part of them enjoyed it and they hate themselves for that, that is much much more interesting.
