Probably not that much. Vegetto was goofing around with Buu, but his entire plan was to torment Buu long enough to bait an absorption, since he didn't want to kill the people within (Which makes sense, Gohan, Goten and Trunks are all technically his sons).

Gogeta vs Omega is even a half assed version of this, since Gogeta delayed the fight long enough for Omega to use a negative energy attack, for Gogeta to convert it into a positive attack and destroy the negative energy surrounding Earth, which, is completely pointless since just killing Omega would have the exact same effect.

With this in mind, Vegetto would probably goof around for a bit, but I don't think he'd overdo it since there's no reason to delay killing Omega like it happened with Buu.

One of the two main problems with modern Dragon Ball is that it's extremely status quo conservative (the second one, tied to it, is the nostalgia-reliance). E.g. the only actual main cast characters Super added were Beerus and Whis, and even back in 2022, Goku was still training under Whis, the training he started in 2015. Back during the manga run, we had an influx of new characters getting to the front while old characters would shift to the backrow, and eventually background (at different rates but still), Goku would also keep surpassing his mentors. Broly looks like he has been planned as a main cast member, but his only appearance after his movie was a C plot, and then Toriyama seemingly got bored of Super when he heard about Daima. Daima itself couldn't shake the status quo too much since just like Super it's a midquel though it's possible that had it continued, it would rely on the main characters from the first season and not morph into another Goku/Vegeta show which I guess would have been a plus; but shaking off Vegeta himself is impossible at this point which already causes problems since it locks the top2 spots for Goku and him.

It almost never happens. RoF is the only arc they end up equal without Goku being at least a step ahead (unless you count Goku being unable to use UI at will past ToP). Which is why he didn't even plan to do it, it was always to give Piccolo an opening. But he clearly outclasses everyone there.

The combat in this game has no depth, it's better to use ki based attacks because they outdo the rest in damage so much.

Bardock in particular is ridiculously overpowered, ground pound (down, forward+S) has I-frames, does high damage, and uses so little ki it might as well not use any, jump kick attack covers a big distance, has good damage and knocks down...

Unless I'm missing something, Fasha is just weak, has less attacks than Bardock, the few special attacks she has are mediocre, so my fights when using her I just punch and kick until a crowd gathers and then I use F to use ki and do most of the damage.

I've read a lot of Cell Games Gohan vs Broly debates, and from what I gather, the end of the first Broly movie is total bullshit. When everyone shares their power with Goku, he gets a x1000 power amp or something crazy like that. Also, using Buu Saga SSJ2 Gohan as a point of comparison for Movie 10 Broly's power level is a bit inconsistent, since Movie 10 takes place sometime before Buu. It's possible Gohan's strength hadn't deteriorated as much by then as it would by the time Vegeta insulted him.

My biggest sticking point is always that Broly has a big ass weak spot on his chest, and SSJ2 Gohan's favorite move is to hard-plant either his foot or one of his fists square in the middle of your chest, knocking the wind smoove outta you. So there's something like a 50/50 chance he opens with that and wins immediately. lol

I'm also in the camp that believes Goku really appeared at the end of Movie 10 and contributed a quasi-signficant amount of energy to the attack that beat him. I don't believe it was just Pat Swayze emotional support.

Thinking of it, I'm not sure senzu were ever used in the middle of a fight. IIRC it was always between character switches (Goku arrives to save the rest from Nappa/Recoome, gives senzu to the rest, or Goku gives a senzu to Cell so Gohan fights Cell at full power).

Only Dende healed characters mid battle (Him constantly healing everyone while fighting Freeza, and him healing Gohan when he was fighting Buutenks), and that worked well because in both cases the healing was a desperate attempt to stay alive against an overwhelming opponent, and in Freeza's case, to up the stakes once Freeza realizes what's up, so he kills Dende right after transforming.

Bra doesn't have any of this, when she used it against Cold it gave her a win (In a fight a character like her would normally lose), and when she was a raid boss, it just put her at full HP and ki while everyone else losing stamina and getting killed.

this is one of the reasons i prefer the anime to the manga if time isn't an issue. the extra scenes the anime production team wrote are often small by nature, but some of them were so meaningful. the extra time with Piccolo and Gohan during the Saiyan Saga, Goku and Piccolo driving, Vegeta appearing to Goku in a vision on Namek after his death, some of the relaxing they did while waiting for the Cell Games–it helps make the world feel more complete, to me. let's us live with the characters a little more. they did a great job complementing Toriyama's work.

that's one of the reasons i never felt like Toyotaro was a great fit as a protégé. i would've rather seen Toriyama collaborate with and train someone who compliments the subsection of storytelling where he struggles. that way they could learn from and better one another instead of quintupling down on rough edges (for lack of a better way of putting it).

I couldn't say for sure because I haven't made many Frost Demon CaCs. But it would not surprise me if they didn't. Keku also made a King Cold style set for them that gives them an upper body with armor and a big cape, and I remember being surprised that wasn't in the base game.

I don't know if anyone agrees but I like items that make you super strong like the Third Eye way more than I like just wishing for more power.
I think 'power wishes' should be reserved for stuff like potential unlocks and unlocking dormant forms rather than outright give more power from nowhere.

I would never call him a bad dad because that would imply that there should be some level of resentment between him and Gohan; which there absolutely shouldn't be, the two love each other. There are times, however, when it's a struggle to call him a particularly good one despite his best efforts. Throwing Gohan at Cell was objectively the correct call to make and demonstrated an absolute confidence in his son's abilities but simultaneously showed that even spending eight years together wasnt enough for Goku to really understand Gohan even if he cared and tried to salvage the situation.
