nobody looks at vm. We'd lose whatever potential for growth or activity we have, and then there would be no reason to even keep it alive. Instead of 5 people posting noel to keep the thread active, it would be 2 people posting noel to keep the thread active. Going to /vm/ would be a slow death and it would be better to just pull the plug directly.

GGs, pretty good for someone new. I don't know much about Remi but I can talk a bit about defense.
Against my corner pressure, if you want to BE a good spot would be on 236B or 2C. Avoid doing it during 2A spam.
Depending on the spacing some bullets in blockstrings are not airtight but can reset pressure if you're respecting too much, for those you can superjump or dash out. You can also try to escape by jump backing since airblock is so good in this game.

i'm sorry the last few experiences I've had playing lumina were fucking awful so I haven't been playing lately

Can French Bread just not fuck up the launch for one game please I am begging them. All I am asking for is:

>Working online with regional ranked matchmaking and rollback netcode
>Crossplay
>Don't have "a mechanic" on launch that is annoying and turns off a bunch of players
>Lobbies with more than one station
>Actual 1080p resolution (text and sprites)
>Not a console upgrade/port, instead it is a full fledged game, like AACC to TL, not like the previous version of UNI to UNI2
>If the last condition can not be met then do not ask for $50-$60 (instead ask for like $30)

I will personally suck off each and every one one of the developers if this happens. I am not worried about the soundtrack. I guess I also don't want obnoxious top tiers but I think that is easier to put up with than the other problems.

no modern game will do this.
All you can ask is that people play the game anyway, like they do with T8 and SF6. Heat and drive rush are fucking god awful and EVERYONE hates them yet they play the games anyway. Hell even granblue has players despite 66L and brave counter. These are just as bad as, if not worse, than release shield. If online worked and there was crossplay the bad mechanic might not have mattered for lumina just like those other games.

True. I just hope that "the mechanic" is not as bad. I think we will get something Like getting UNI2 since the original Melty Blood got a bunch of sequels/upgrades, so I think it will be (a modified) shield mechanic and maybe some other stuff. Strive is pretty good in that department (I guess wild assault was pretty dumb but it was not on launch and the issues Strive has are from other things (mostly balance/damage and no proper online)).

I think a big part of the problem is that fpan (or rather, the publisher) outsources the pc ports to other developers because of how small they are, and those devs tend to suck ass. Also, nobody wants Type Twomina to be like going from AACC to TL. TL was a regression from AACC in many ways by design, because it's a new system. You want it to be like going from AC to AACC. Autistic semantics aside, the game shouldn't have a launch price higher than $40 regardless of how much is changed from TL, and of course none of this matters if the online is borked on launch. The price and the game actually working are the only things that matter at the end of the day (although I wouldn't mind better lobbies and a decent jukebox). Also, if the Mahoyo movie lines up close enough to the game's release, put Touko or Alice in on launch.
