>>530475331The actual moves haven't been simplified in fact they've been made more complex as you get way more moves. It's the note system that was simplified. You can choose performance mode and you just do 2 attacks of the same note in a row to perform a song or you can use echo mode that works like third gen horn (you queue the note and then perform). Songs are only 2 notes unless you want to play them all at once which is 3 notes.
>why wouldn't I just do the 3 note every time? That does work actually until you get to endgame monsters that attack way too often to pull it off unless they're toppled. You want to focus on filling the circle meter so you can activate infernal melody for the buff. Fastest way to do that is crush > perform and then repeat. Other notable combos are crush > backslam as they both hit hard and combo into each other. Crush and the new double swing move can both be used to reposition 360 degrees which is good for positioning. There's a lot more but that's the basics

Berserk actually makes the game a fair bit easier to play in a way, as with it you're no longer afraid of taking big damage. Just fought AT Rey Dau for the first time and beat him, HOWEVER, is this version made to fuck with the lance? I can't do any of the charged counters or follow ups without eating shit and every attack he does leaves aoe trails that can vary due to the FUCKED up terrain and slopes. What truly irritates me to my very core is that capcom absolutely refuses to directly acknowledge, apologize or make any direct statement about this and their commitment to fixt performance and other issues. Instead, they opt to make policies about how people are mad at them even though it's their own damn fault. To even claim that we can't ask for apologies if they're too "unreasonable" is RIDICULOUS, but here we are.
