Personally I have issues with all three (relevant) games:
FRCs suck ass, the sound design is a real mixed bag, with Axls chains for example being fucking piercing, Baiken is a warcrime
Variable wakeup is ass, DT is exceptionally stupid, the roster has a lot of duds, the top tiers are degenerate, game is overly offense orientated
That overly simple characters can be as effective as very difficult characters sucks, damage is still too high, lobbies still routinely shit themselves

I thought I was just bad but I've just labbed and realized the speed required to input fbrc overhead on analog stick is quite simply inhuman.
I recorded my pad with my phone and I need to do the motion in less than 3 frames for it to be consistant, otherwise rc send me far back.
I almost convinced if I gather the data I can prove that fbrc overhead is mostly used by hitbox and stick users because it's almost impossible to not misinput this on the regular with a stick if you include it a lot in your mixes.

Is it a good time to try and get into Strive? I am debating between getting this or getting back in GBVS. I have taken a break from fighting games for about a year or two but I played a lot of GBVS before I quit. But Strive would be me learning a completely new game. If they have a good button that hits below them like Johnny j.H they can hit it to stop you but that's risky and hard to time, be patient and the situation is in your favour.
