Companies don't just arbitrarily decide to restrict regions from accessing their product.
Also, I greatly enjoy Exedra but there is no comparison between it and BA, BA is unrivaled in this genre.
Blue Archive's story quality only improved with each main and event release and gameplay content also all greatly improved over that time frame. As far as gacha's go Blue Archive is currently unmatched in terms of QOL and F2P friendly-ness. It's even greater cope to think people "shilling" the game is why it's popular now, they just turned it into a fantastic product over time.

I don't even play BA and even I can tell its girl game is extremely strong. So many good girls. It's the peak bishoujo game currently, among hardcore otaku. I don't think it's quite a direct competitor with Exedra. Exedra is simply banking on the success of Madoka IP, the bishoujo factor is secondary. And I guess it's selling to the yuri niche, who are always starved?
Magireco has over a hundred good girls too.
So this all is just the Touhou technique. BA does it. Just keep releasing new girls that belong to different groups/factions, and otaku will stay interested. Magireco did this quite well too.
Unfortunately, Exedra totally flopped in this area because we havenโt had a new girl yet at all. Imagine if we got one? The interest that would be generated from fans?

I'm honestly so close to uninstalling the game, I really can't be bothered with it anymore this tower event is ass, I'm pissed off I'm likey going to miss out on 5* key shards because of the obnoxious difficulty and the rewards for clearing these fucking levels are shit too, wow 10 fucking gems 10 gems for the amount of BS is unreal. I'm suppose to enjoy a challenge not have to reload a fucking level 10 times and put up with fucking RNG when an NPC attacks the same character twice in a row which kills it. Honestly fuck this game.

More seriously, I get that you're angry and wanted to vent but it'd probably be more productive if you looked for feedback and advice instead. We should also be getting the lvl cap increase before this tower iteration ends, so you should be able to clear up to 49 as long as you have a 5* defender.

Homura, Lux Doka, Kaede, Ren / Felica, Sayaka all at 100/120 are not working its just RNG.
Sometimes I even have girls die before I even get my first turn to put up a barrier, and the only time I've gotten far in the fight Kaede randomly got killed when an enemy targeted her twice in a row and died from full health without a barrier but with 10 stacks of Sayaka's defense buff. On top of that you have to put up with the massively nerfed damage you deal and the fact the enemies seem to get significantly more turns than you.

/vg/'s roster has been revealed for the 2025 Summer Cup which starts on July 25th. By unanimous decision in a previous thread, we sent Shizuka this time to represent /pmmm/ for her performance in the final group stage game. She'll very likely be a bench defender though so hopefully she can win the condition roll and start for one of their games.

I've had better luck running Kyouko that Homura because she does more damage, but I thought the gimmik for that fight was to break fast as a lot of the enemies stay in break a long time so I used Madoka / Mito as I don't have a better AoE breaker. I have all the 4* girls too.

I still did it with Iroha though but I also used a double defender strategy the first time around to make it easier. I think you could try that. You'll probably have an easier time with an A2 Kyouko too to burst down the middle one, who can apply curse, before it can hopefully, since curse increases damage taken from other attacks. Then you can focus down the penis shaped ones.

Only use battle skill on Madoka (unless familiars are dead) and Kirika.

Second, you need debuffs on the innermost familiars. Kirika's special is good for that but since the boss can dispel them, having a second source of debuffs help. If you have Felicia at A2, her basic attacks can apply debuffs too, but you can do it without A2.
Third, her special can help quite a bit. There's some sort of stun res build up on enemies in this game, so usually Felicia's stun isn't good against bosses, but since you're fighting a bunch of different familiars, you can actually land stuns on them. You don't need them to win, just the 30% defense debuff helps a lot with Homura's damage, but it's still good to have when you time them right.

Weighing up if I should go to Nagoya /PMMM/ or save that for the next trip.

An alternative to Felicia would be Ayame but since she doesn't have the right element, she's harder to keep alive and there is more RNG involved in the clear from my experience.
It took me a few attempts to get used to the fight, but I can clear with this Felicia party consistently both on my GL account and my JP account, where Felicia and Mami were at a A0 and Pluvia was at A2.

The most thrilling moment of my year so far was because of Magia Exedra. It was the very last day of the scene0 event. I hadn't won Mabayu yet and I still needed to finish films 3 and 4 of the event story, but that was fine because I had plenty of time left before 11 PM.
I went running outside late afternoon and parked at this remote place with a sign saying they arrested trespassers after dusk but I was going to be back before then. At the turnaround point of my run, I realized that there was this little park 5 km away that I had always wanted to visit. I wouldn't be able to run back to my car if I went there because it was really hot outside and I was already tired, but I thought that was fine because I could just take an Uber back. I ran the 5 km downhill on this country road with no shoulder and a bunch of blind curves without getting run over. I enjoyed the sunset for a few minutes then opened Uber only to learn that they don't drive to that remote spot where my car was. Then I started to panic because I would have to walk back and what if my car got towed or I even got arrested for trespassing after dusk and I wouldn't be able to finish the scene0 story.
So I really pushed myself to run the 10 km uphill and got back to my car just in time before dusk. Then in the car on the way home I did one last 10-roll and finally won Mabayu. When I got home there was only 1 hour left so I blitzed through scene0 films 3 and 4 and finished the story just minutes before 11 PM. Now every time I play with Mabayu on my team I think about that experience.

I just feel like it maybe wouldn't be quick enough without Mami to help get kirika to put up a barrier before it's the witch's turn.

Also gacha should generally try to maintain FOMO, if I start to miss content and get used to missing it that's bad for the game because then I just won't try and I lose interest because if you've missed stuff once then you just keep on missing it. Whereas if you never miss stuff you actually make an effort, I literally never missed event rewards in reco and in less than 100 days I'm missing stuff here already.

When I cleared it I was A2/A4/A0/A0/A5 but it wasn't particularly close so I don't think the ascensions on Homura mattered that much. I also was at magic levels 111/89/89/111/89 at the time so there's room for improvement there.
The overall strategy is to save your special on Reira when you're getting close to Izabel's double attack. To save your special on Ayame when you're getting close to the atk buff. To use Ayame's skill to apply debuffs and allow Homura to kill familiars faster. To not let familiars get a turn (besides the first set). And to try to generate SP as much as possible by having Iroha be the one to break the familiars by timing her specials well. Don't hesitate to use basic attacks on Ayame and Tsuruno to make sure you have enough for the other 3.

Holy shit sisters, fucking finally. Last time I couldn't even break this boss once after several attempts using one of the teams on the guide, eventually got tired and I ultimately got filtered. Now that my Homu is A3 I knew I had everything to beat this thing.
As other sisters had already said, you really gotta mind when you use Reira' special and you have to dispel the witch whenever it has a damage dealt up buff, that's it. Most of the familiars can be broken before they can even act if you have the right team comp with good support.
Also funny how the moment I switched out my A2 Felicia for A1 Tsuruno I started dealing damage way more consistently. Buffer + debuffer is the way to go it seems.

In hindsight, that was likely never going to happen. They have an entire catalogue of live 2D models to re-use/update.
I'm not against them re-using stuff. If they didn't we likely wouldn't be playing Exedra right now.

Honestly, it kinda feels like there's no reason to roll for a character outside of gameplay reasons.

alright, i've made it to mirror layer 50. i don't understand how this boss is even remotely possible. barely got anywhere on it. and i barely scraped by 40. but 45 wasn't terrible and i beat 45 on my second try.
