How do you feel about Rover doing essentially nothing important and being mostly absent from the main story this update? Do you like the constant POV switching? Do you like when protagonist changes from one you played the whole game to someone who just appeared and will be forgotten next update?
In the survey, if you are not satisfied with this patch, they even have "not enough Rover involvement" or something like that as the reason (I don't remember the exact wording).
I personally hated tit. This shit only works when you have recurring cast like several protagonists or a one big villain through the whole game. Cristoforo was already experimenting on Mya before the events of Avinoleum, while his direct goal of why he wants to release the Dark Tide is not yet revealed, this info of the Fractsidius was previously unknown until the events of 2.4 as before we thought they were there because the church hired them to keep the status quo.

Like imagine episode 1 of 2.4 is you trying to find Carte, and it reveals that she's in a mirror world. Episode 2 is introducing you to Lupa, and reveals the scary shit happening to Mya. So on and so forth. They would just need to adjust the pacing and make it more dramatic.

Honest opinion about 2.4 story:
It's peak and I'm tired of people thinking it's the worst. It's funny how THE MOMENT Rover entrusts the mc role to someone at least for a bit the story gets infinitely more engaging. I hate the term "cuck cameraman mc" because having the same "Rover saves the day" plot over and over again is so fucking tiring. This patch was peak because Rover's presence was still crucial for the plot and in saving Septimont, they pushed Lupa in the right direction, not just tossed her aside and did the work by themselves. As much as I want for WuWa to have more connected story, not isolated from each other (characters reappearing and DOING something that matters), it will probably not happen to not accidentally overshadow the patch resonator. So at least give the characters some more time and development by giving them the MC role for a bit.
Also please kill off playable characters tastefully I need my post-apocalyptic sad story

Do people actually have issues with this quest? I usually avoid difficult content like Holograms because it's not my cup of tea but did this one because I accidentally started the quest without realizing what it was. At the end at full buffs it took less than 5 minutes to beat Arsinosa with my Camellya Roccia SK team. Way easier than I was expecting it to be.
