What part 3 really hinges on is proofs and proper gemming, it isn't an issue in the first two routes but it can make or break you during the third route. For the first two routes all you need to worry about is conditional damage boosters since enemies are built with them in mind you don't really need to go hectic with job grinding.

Part 3's powerspike is just "use new characters". Besides later with a Double Shield character you can just have someone survive and revive everyone else if you don't oneshot, or have a few Roids swap in and out as they each have a turn or two of invincibility. Then there's also Daystar and Timestop abuse.

Managed to get a good still for the fight thankfully. Really tough, but also really awesome. Probably the hardest boss so far and it took several different team spreads, but the power of friendship (and petrification) wins in the end!

Use buffs from Dancing and Singing, Doctor/Mercantile and Shield Captain and you can have everyone take multiple hits even on Paradox difficulty. Shield Captain will eventually get a skill to halve Auto-Hit Damage, Dancing/Singing get their typical assortment of buffs but also gain one to reduce chaos element damage as well, and both Doctor and Mercantile can apply doping to buff Maximum HP. Both x1.5 and x2 versions of Doping stack with each other as well, making it even more reliable. Informant can also help a lot with setting up buffs as well in order to survive and fight back. With the right set-up like this, even the OG Monster Girls who lack super-powerful traits (such as Pyhar or Mini) will be able to keep up with the pace and hold their own!

Rather nicely though, Suzu and Rami work very well together! I'm glad the Imp can have a moment here with her too, since she did do a lot as well.
We even got it with 3*s, it was nice.

Just set up two grills at the start infront of the point, wait to burn them and then start setting up as you'd normally do. The Salamanders should be able to be taken care of by most classes; if you don't melee them, a ranged attacker like an Air Scout or Thief will take them down without trouble. Hope that can help.

well actually I was looking through past archives of the MMTD's threads to see if there was any bonus art or summaries or such for Charis (there wasn't, or at least none that I could find even if I misspelled her name as "Charys" like one of the anons there did) and while searching I found a post that just said you can use the built-in translator on chrome to translate stuff on a page without needing to screenshot it first, so, that's really all I've been doing.

I just batch-translate lines five at a time in the log to make it easier to read (and put them all in a note document), and the story is pretty legible to me and feels pretty fine as it is. Considering I've had an issue with a poor translator tool in the past that also muddled the context it's probably something like that which is causing the disconnect.

I then tried searching with her japanese name and species name, and I couldn't find any other art of Charis despite a lot of the other girls having bonus art of them in the game already. although I did also manage to find someone who documented her bonus story that's locked behind the costume, so there's that at least. She teaches him calligraphy, and does a reference to an old folk story except she swaps out one of the animals for a chicken. It's sweet.

Given what happens later this seems more like a powerplay between the King and Queen that the guy just got caught in the middle of. His Mom hasn't shown up at all, but she's the true overarching villain as the one who set everything into motion. She's probably the one who tried to get him assassinated in the first place.

Reina solo'd the final boss and super boss with the power of her Evasion, so it might surprise you but yes evasion-tanking actually still works just fine. The dodge-counters are fun, too. So I guess that rate is enough. You should be careful to make sure your wife can still take at least a few hits though, like I did. Reina didn't get hit often but she definitely appreciated her durability when it mattered.

Two, If intent matters, I.E., if a person is thinking or acting on the desire to hurt a nightmare, would intentless acts hurt them? Like, if a nightmare tripped on a rock and fell flat on their face onto dirt, would they get hurt or get the sensation of pain. Would a tree falling over due to beavers cutting its base apart, toppling onto a nightmare, cause them injury? If a nigthmare fell into an ocean, would the pressure crush them, or would they walk it off as nothing happened. Could radiation affect them on any level?

anon I don't think you know me very well I'm probably one of the most vanilla motherfuckers in the entirety of this thread when it comes to my tastes and what I love the most and I don't even view that as an insult because by God if Harpies are vanilla then you can call me the Lord of Vanillin.
But even if my heart is with Reina and the Harpies I just love Monster Girls as a whole, because to me Monster Girls are art. I have a great fondness for the classics and original species; there's a great beauty in simplicity after all. But I also really like the more fantastical, monstrous or creatively unique girls as well. It all depends on how they stuck the landing.

When it comes to "aliens", the little green dudes are indeed one of the classics, and I don't really have any issues with them in a normal alien line-up because as you said they're very iconic. But the thing is that Monster Girls are best exemplified as a mixture of the human and the fantastical in a manner that perfectly balances the best of both. And you can make that work a lot with a lot of different kinds of aliens. Hell, I'd consider the Xenomorph one of the most classic aliens around.

But trying to do this with ay lmao's is just really difficult because you just end up with 'green skinned human', and they no longer have the look of the original alien. Which I assume is why all of the aliens are wearing literal cosplay outfits that have the iconic alien face on them. But that also works against them because it obscures a lot of how they look too. I can barely see the hands on the greys, which apparently are meant to be like E.T., which would make me like them more.
I don't know if it's 'went too far' or 'didn't go far enough', but I'm just not really endeared to them.

honestly even if he's not close to being my favorite (although to be fair though the series has a lot of really great Monsters in it and he's definitely one of them) I've always really liked how he looks due to just the sheer depth of how much went into it's creation and how it all blended together in a phenomenal way.
Gore's finalized design probably has some inspiration from the Xenomorphs, but it's actually one of it's more milder influences even when it comes to the bizarre reproduction cycle it has. Gore and Shagaru have some of the most deep and religious symbolism of all the Monsters in the series in a way fundamental to their core, but as far as Gore looks he's mostly based off the ideas of a "Black Knight", like how his face looks like a helmet and his wings are clutched to his back in a way that makes it look like he's wearing a cape.
And even more specifically Gore's probably based off the Berserker Armor from, well, Berserk, which is a lot more clear in some of his concept art. I think him having no eyes suits Gore much better though.

It's not just the pacifier, and you're overexaggerating that. The hoodie itself is just really tacky and obscures a lot of her detail, the hose itself looks more like a leash, and the hose-lance methodology is extremely ineffectual and cumbersome and, in my opinion, a dumb idea. And by that I don't mean "the composite elements of the Chupacabra" I mean "this is a very stupid method of trying to extract blood from something". I can see the vision but I think the vision just wasn't good. It's boring as hell.

Her entire design hinges on a garish mascot costume that looks like it was taken from an amusement park, with the costume being the part that most actually resembles the Monster, and she herself is just "girl with dog legs". It's a garish crutch for a poor design.

I get they put a lot of love and detail into that costume, but that doesn't make it good. And that doesn't make me obligated to like it, either. If anything you bringing up that apparently a lot of people hate her makes me feel even more justified in believing that yes she's a bad design, because it's clearly on a fundamental level deeper than just "pacifier". she still deserves someone who loves her, but she found Lotte, and I find that boneheaded scientist endearing so I'm happy they found a friend in each other at least.

You're also dancing around the "why" I disliked a lot of her, which feels disingenuous. Your shilling of her feels empty, merely obstinate for the sake of it. It's just not compelling to me. She's a mediocre, basic design. At best, she tried too hard and achieved something that's very out-of-place with the rest of the Island. At worst she's mostly just a cheap mascot suit being worn by a dog-legged girl (with a tail) that does her a disservice by hiding or obscuring all of her Monsterous characteristics instead of enhancing them. Hence why I said just getting rid of the suit in it's entirety already solved the majority of the problems I had with her, which I said several times prior.
I would rather see actual lizard-like hand claws, and not a sleeve that just looks like it, because I want to see a MONSTER's claws on a MONSTER girl and not a poofy costume/sleeve/space-suit/whatever she's wearing. I want to see her fangs, not a giant Costume-Helmet that looks like it came from a live-action advertisement that has fangs. I want to see a tongue, not a siphon/hose that's just trying to mimic the silhouette of one. I want to see scales and horns and ridges, or leathered hide and sparse hair and quills.
She's just pedestrian. And I'm not going to back down on that when faced against arguments that are uncompelling and lacking.

This is a point I feel has become an outright thoughtless meme over the years. Design does not have to be purely limited to one space and clothing has always been one of its most common forms. While physiological design is important, I believe clothing design should not be entirely ignored. That and the fact Chupina has major physiological monster features. The cosplay complaint is very one or the other and stops taking whole design into account which muddles one's ability to consider designs holistically, and on top of that you damned on the other on false basis made without considering her monster features at all.

Alright well I disagree with you entirely on that and find her a very bland and lackluster attempt at a Chupacabra.
But if you're willing to agree that yes this just comes down to subjective preference then we can leave it at that. I agree clothing should not be ignored. Her clothing is most of what drags down the entire design, which is why I cannot ignore her clothing.

But no I don't think most of my criticisms apply to her the way they do to the Chupacabra. One works better as an Alien, the other doesn't. She's just got a really nice simple look to her and I just like it a lot. Like I said I'm probably pretty vanilla for the thread. Also if those hands are mechanical it blends together with her suit much, much better than the lance-hose combination.
I guess I think the Chupacabra over-complicated an otherwise simple design into something more cumbersome, while the Flatwoods just is that simpler design, and it looks smoother as a result.

I think all the original 6 have value. IV to VI are essentially a fantasy hero story in space while I to III are Annakin’s journey for intended hero to villain.
The pair complements each other too since they explain the reasoning of each other. Luke losing an arm, and then noticing Vader’s prosthetics of what he was becoming, Luke besting Vader in a cave illusion and then the mask being himself was the story telling us that he was making a mistake. Going in sheer power and relying on rage would earn him victory but he would end up just like Vader did. It would still make you question why Ben Kenobi just let him be for years even though the guy was their only hope.
Then the episodes I to III come out and it’s Annakin’s turn to prove that. Without a proper childhood and away from his family, Annakin becomes obsessed with Padme, his position and the prophecy - which wrre all he had. He doesn’t develop the values Luke did. Luke loves his family, loves people and loves the world around him all because he grew as a normal farmboy and in turn naturally strived to be heroic like any kid does. In turn these movies justify why it’s so important to have a normal background, why you can’t artificially make a hero and why you can’t rush a prophecy.

I basically don’t question the trope of random nobodies becoming heroes because of that.
