But it does bring up an interesting concept - if Germany had the capacity to intercept American nukes and prevent themselves from being nuked, and then developed their own nuclear weapons after the deployment of the bombs on Japan, would they have been able to stop the Russian advance with nuclear weapons? The current gamemodes are simply a lost cause, they're rudimentary placeholders that were never replaced with something actually proper. You don't fix Ground by making CAS anemic or removing it, you make the shitty gamemode into something closer to Battlefield where individual deaths aren't super impactful and each match is fought tooth and nail to the bitter end rather than decided before it even begins by which team has the least one-death leaving fresh install paypigs and the most sweaty tryhards rushing the meta sniping positions.

If so, do tank players get the same spawn system we have now except the spawns aren't limited and CAS is more expensive while the plane players can't enter tanks at all and are playing Air EC with player-controlled ground targets? Or are tank players ONLY allowed into tanks (and helis) and plane players are ONLY allowed into planes? Who knows, it's not the kind of stuff you decide by thought experiments alone.

The game's AI is probably too dogshit to handle it, but I wonder if an Air EC gamemode where your goal is to strike ground targets would be fun
Either full PvE where you kill ground targets, deal with AI SPAA and the occasional CAP plane (which gives people who want to play fighters in the strike gamemode a use) or maybe more interestingly you'd have a sort of MOBA-like three lane ground battle with AI in a PvP air mode where your goal is to shoot down as many of the enemy fighters/strike aircraft as possible and strike more enemy ground targets to ensure your AI tanks successfully hold the cap points (and if they push into the enemy's ground spawn cap and cap it, the tickets bleed out in like 5-10s so it's an instawin)
Airplanes would get multiple respawns in this mode, but each death would put you on at least a one minute respawn timer AND you would have to take off from an airfield a good 25-30km from the battlefield even if you're in a Strike/Bomber aircraft, so killing enemies would have an impact rather than "Okay I just respawn my missile bus air spawn and shoot down several enemy strike craft within 30s of dying"

Trying to game it and just play the "best" tree is retarded because different trees are better at different BRs and it can all be shaken up with nerfs, buffs, new vehicles, or BR changes.

That's not how that works. A 1.0+ T/W ratio means you can gain speed in a perfect 90 degree climb when your wings aren't generating any lift. Maybe it's more true in the sub 4.7 range for me but there aint no way in fucking hell that at 6.7 it's a long drawn out battles. MiGga basically is very fast, has good gun, ok missiles but they all can be one flared, can turn well BUT loses huge energy in turns
A real MiGga will boom & zoom mainly so just turn around and headon them because you cant catch them
If they turnfight they are retarded and you will kill them after 2-3 turns, so try baiting them into that
Be careful because the top MiGgas will use stealth belts and fire cannons in headons from 1.5-2km away AND/OR fire a missile at you before turning, and you basically die with 0.1s warning
