Based on the blog description, and assuming the Swedeistanis aren't just mistranslating their own advertising.

Of course, the major problem here is that laser beam weaponry is only S-tier against bots. The Laser Cannon is AP4, so at the very least the Laser Sentry should also be AP4 at minimum, sensibly it'd be AP5 since it's bigger than the Laser Cannon. They're decent against Squids too, but not as effective thanks to the Voteless. Against Bugs, they're kinda ass.

This is the opposite of what you want sentries to do. Their value comes from being independent damage sources that inflict serious damage on their own that also draws some aggro away from you. You never want to be alongside sentries. You want them to act like a second fireteam that's on a different flank or ridgeline.

Laser weapons are also only good when intelligently aimed at weak points. Their damage output is subpar in a vacuum.

As described it's just a shit sentry. But a shit sentry with a very short cooldown can be valuable in its own right. If this thing doesn't have a cooldown equivalent or shorter than the MG sentry, then it's basically meme unplayable tier. I suppose the raw DPS of the laser might just be tuned high enough to be useful, but based on the current trend of laser weapons this probably won't be the case.

Masters of ceremony has been one of my favorites because it gave me the sparkler grenade, which is so strong that I'm not sure when I'll stop bringing it.

Is there such a thing as a "fire primary" loadout for Squids? I gave them a break for a while, got Freedom's Flame, loved it, then went back now for the MO. After attempting to use more meta shit they're still just annoying and my Crisper has been great for CC and even fucking up Overseers.

Can I just kill the fucks with fire? Take the primary flamer and grab a MG? Seems a bit undertuned with just it and a WASP, though I haven't committed to it yet. Dickle was fun, though.

Crisper is (unfortunately) basically just a lower magsize Torcher. Everything good about the Torcher can be done with the Crisper, so it can be hard to justify fitting the Torcher into a loadout.
Stalwart + Torcher + Senator (for popping Harvesters and Overseer heads) has been fun for me, though. Stalwart can handle anything the Torcher can't. Would recommend Siege-Ready.

personally i find stalwart to be superior against squids since it allows you to be fully mobile against enemies which are almost exclusively made to run you down and which are about 80% AP2/1
other stratagems are your prerogative but i get mileage out of eagle cluster (avoid throwing anywhere within 40m of teammates) and orbital gatling/gas stuff

EAT/COMMANDO has more AT firepower, but 99% of the time quasar is enough. Especially with strafing and sparkler grenades on deck as backup. Jump pack is just comfy for map mobility and backdooring bot bases. Rocket sentry is just comfy for when I regroup with my team and find that they've been shitting the bed and have accumulated a blob of ~100 devastators loosely scattered around a large area.

Displacer Pack just feels like a straight upgrade over the Jump Pack. It's an instant disjoint that bursts enemies with plasma damage both at the entrance and exit point.
