As for the four romance options in DE2, it might not be that complicated. Like, Amanda's romance could already be done for the most part, as we know that at least two romance scenes were partially or fully made but didn't make it into DE. Odds are they'll end up getting used. And that's just the stuff we know about.

I finally finished Lost Records. While I enjoyed it, something glaring about the ending is irritating me.
Where is Dylan in this story? She doesn't die, doesn't get sucked into the abyss, but is still there when shit happens, so why isn't she in the modern day story at all? Especially seeing as both her boyfriend and her sister disappear.

I'm 90% sure that the story of B&R 2 is going to be focused on Swann using the abyss to try and 'fix' elements of the past and present. The most obvious thing here being Kat.

The girls wished they could've done more for her since she was catatonic during the promise; maybe help explain to her why the promise had to happen and staying away from her was their way of protecting her and maintaining the spell (Which is kind of fishy, they're too quick to believe in The Abyss on this one.) but it would defeat the purpose of the spell if she knew in some capacity. I think a part of them blocked off her and Kat's existence, but not each other's, because of the spell until 2022. They began remembering bit by bit 27 years later when the promise started to weaken. Kind of like IT.
I agree with that other anon that she will probably be in a second game as long as it's still set in Velvet Cove. She could be a supporting character that helps the new protags or her fate is again in the background. If she's the protag then her story could be told in parallel with the first game's events/leading up to it or from 2022 onwards after Swann goes missing.
