Finally the nightmare is over and I can proceed with Chitose's route.
All I can say is I hope her route doesn't repeat the same mistakes and doesn't overfocuse on secondary characters. This is my main issues with Milly's route. As expected everything I wrote about yesterday progressed nowhere.
Even though the final battle was meh, (especially Lucid's motivation "I spent years obsessing over a dead girl I dont even know") I got to admit he used his star's abilities in pretty creative ways, dragging metal from around the graveyard and attacking Zephyr with it.
And I want to read Vendetta's route so so much after all she will always be together with Zephyr as his family

I'm really enjoying it, but that's because I'm old enough to have grown up on the shows that it's homaging. Maeda-sensei really snapped with this one. I don’t care what anyone says, this is peak Key. Everything that worked in the anime? It's here but 10x better. Hinata and Ooyama routes were actually good, like emotionally resonant good. I didn't expect to feel that much for characters who barely had time in the show.
The pacing? Way better than the anime.
The character moments? Heartbreaking in that classic Maeda-sensei way.
The comedy? Legitimately funny, not just wacky Key randomness.
The scene with Yuri and Otonashi in the club room near the end of her route? Straight-up Maeda-sensei's soulcrush moment. If you know, you know.
KINO-tier soundtrack too. My Soul, Your Beats! in visual novel form hits hard.
This is what Angel Beats! should have always been. And it's only 1st Beat. Imagine if we actually got the rest sooner than we got them...

First of all, this ge is kamige, you do have to play tsuriotsu to get to it, but it was great.

This was a great game, only two flaw I can find, is that the romance is quite weak compared to tsuriotsu where it was pretty good, and that Liliane didnt have a route, she was easily the most interesting female character in the vn.
What else I can say besides, Ion is my goat, and navel missed out by not making a single route Otomege with Ion as the love interest where he rapes and beats mc while he constantly denigrates her
