I'm f2p myself dude, I don't have a single doll premium doll past V1. I got V1 WA, V1 Vector, V0 Mechty and V1 Springfield now that's just sitting out this gunsmoke cause just taking V6 Springfield support seems better. All my standards are at most V3.
I do 5.4-5.6K across 3 hits, I would've been able to do more if I didn't have to spread them across 3 echelons, at this point I just don't have the dolls to fill the gaps (IE. def down for Freeze/Hydro other than nemesex)

The way I see it, She helps a lot with Springfield's support attacks on a team that doesn't have Tololo or Zhaohui. Her personal damage isn't completely garbage either now that she got Springfield. I've seen people that do around 650-700K with her on a corrosion/hydro team (Both V6 Mechty and V6 Springfield buffing her damage), mine only does around 350-400K right now on this team, not much but apparently better than my other options currently.

99% of the time, if a doll shoots with her gun it's got an ammo attribute. The reverse is also 99% true, if a doll doesn't shoot with her gun, it doesn't have an ammo attribute. Voice lines interrupt your reading flow. If you are faster but you want to hear them talk you have to wait. Without that you can focus your full attention to just reading. The text being so incredibly slow invites you to click to reveal the full text. But that makes you read ahead of the dialogue and finish early.

I hope when they add the new attachment type that does more damage when you melee, that they rework some dolls skills so that if you are in melee range the skill is counted as melee. Faye wants to be right up close but only has 2 melee attacks (her passive and s1) so won't really benefit from it when comes, when it feels right that she should. A different animation would be cool too. Similarly Daiyan using her fan should be melee if you are at range 1, she throws it currently, but she could just as easily do a swipe with it. Maybe this would impact the balance in ways I've not thought about, but it would be an interesting way to make us consider range more.

I tested it and you can too if you doubt me. Just start GS with the buff, immediately move Kluk next to the boss and ult far away from the boss. Note the score. Restart and do the same while ulting towards the boss instead. The score will decrease.
Conclusion: The buff counts for your damage after moving, not at time of ulting.

As the guy that just posted about Ullrid, my Fixed Keys are Oppression, Predation, and Hunter's Acuity (Appropriate Caution if below V2). It's optimized for boss fights where you never fall below 100% HP. For content outside this current GS, I put her on a team with Suomi so that her HP would never fall below 0. For this one, your HP starts above 100% and taking Springfield will ensure it never falls to any level where you should care about it. If for whatever reason your Crit Rate isn't 100% off attachments alone, use Ideal State and position your units so that Ullrid is a lone wolf on the opposite side of the boss from everyone else. The boss, 3 squares wide, will serve as a buffer that allows her to maintain +20% Crit Rate, but really once you have the attachments it is no longer necessary to keept hat key around. At V2, Ullrid gains +3-4 Confectance Index so you don't have to slot Appropriate Caution for a turn 1 triple Whirlwind.
Common Keys focus on Crit DMG and Attack Boost. Mangle is a great Common Key but it's redundant Crit Rate because you should already have over 100%, so frankly I just run generic DMG yellows to get 9% Crit DMG and Attack Boost. The Expansion Key is a given, of course.
The rotation depends on the boss but I default to Whirlwind x3, Hidden Pursuit, and Hunter's Sight. At the 4th turn, you'll have only 5 Confectance, so you'll have to settle with only one Whirlwind this turn to set you at 4, which will bring you to 6 once you cycle through your Pursuit and Hunter's Sight again (disregarding variables like outside confectance gain). You want to time her Whirlwinds against Stability Broken and Vulnerable targets, though last GS there were some effects that gave her +5 Stability Damage which was made her 6 attacks incredibly powerful as an opener. By turn 7 this GS I was punching for around 37k*2 with Blade Whirlwind, but frankly I'm shit and I could probably do better.

I want to be caught up with the story so I can follow along with each event from now on, but I'm seeing people say there are events I missed that are essential to understanding the narrative, and there are other things I should be reading on top of that? I did a lot of watching videos on GFL to prep for getting into gfl2 and understand the background already, but it's honestly wearing me down to scramble to piece this together coming in late. Not a huge fan of this style of story telling but the story page of the IOP wiki lists all the stories that are considered part of the main story so you can use that as a reference unless other anons have a better alternative.
There are some stories about dolls that haven't appeared in any of the main story yet like team B of 404 that you might be interested. But otherwise I think you might be better off to just go with the flow of any subsequent story and don't let it bother you too much that you might've missed something in a side story, if it's giving you that much stress. The narrative of the story is easy enough to get and just read the side stuff whenever you want to.
