these wylder and ironeye didn't have a single useful weapon passive, and neither had slots full
2 i procced rot/poison 3 times. i don't know how much % is rot and how much % is poison, but i guess it should be a lot.

I just got elden ring 1 on the steam sale. The PC controls are alright and I like being able to quickly look around, but I was thinking the general combat would be better on a controller. Is this true? What is a better control scheme? Also, is there a way to unlock the camera so it just stays in the same position regardless of where I move (sort of like Hitman how you can look in 360 deg around the character). I don't really like being locked into the mouse steering the character in Elden Ring.

hang on now. soloing a boss is one thing but you can't MAKE people get to a certain level if they're retarded enough.

The boss design in elden ring makes the i-frame dodge roll gameplay loop less fun. When you're dodge rolling 4, 5, 6+ times in a row it feels like you're simultaneously forced to play patient but against spazzy enemies. I'm basically standing at a range where they do very unsafe high recovery moves and hoping they choose to do that instead of a 8 attack chain that recovers faster than I can hit them one time.
This seems like a good game but maybe a step back from sekiro/AC6/Dark Souls 3 in my subjective opinion.
In addition I'll start exploring, and I do find cool stuff, but in a lot of cases you go walking in a direction and find nothing interesting as well. For instance that cave at the beginning of the game with the wolf man that just gives you a mediocre shield.
Am I approaching the game wrong?

This game is way better if you choose not to use spirit summons; they split the aggro of every boss and make the fights less engaging, it's boring. I encourage any anons here who haven't already to do a playthrough without the summons, it's way better.
