Pretty much sums up the state of things. People are taking for granted the ways that GL has it better than CN did at this point in the game's lifespan, or even to this day (units like Ann still need A3 for their second passive). That being said I do wish the two versions were just the same. Rushing out content and fucking with balance feels like an unforced error and makes the game unpredictable which feels bad, not to mention reduced currency from rewards and handouts plus faster banners. The state of the game as it is seems fine to me but people should be very vocally upset and concerned about the poor reward structure at the very least.

Overall, I like the game. I'm guessing most of my negatives are just the early game being overwhelming and having so many characters I want to level up. The UI is also a bit overwhelming so that doesn't help. The train thing feels out of place in how bad it is. Just a more boring version of HSR's SU, a gamemode that I'm not a huge fan of.

You can get assist points by using assists too, so you don't have to rely on other people using yours (which is good because that's very unreliable unless you whale hardcore for OP units). If you have guild bosses unlocked, an easy way to grind out these points is to just do one of those bosses on easy difficulty using a guild member's assist. Takes a while to do it 10 times, but I dunno if there's a faster/more consistent method.

Dx2 did something similar recently. Events used to have gold tier and silver tier demons, with golds almost always being the recent banner units, and gave +100% event currency, with silvers giving only +25%. Think it's the same with Yui, she was 2 weeks on CN and she's 4 weeks here. IIRC Fox was the first 4 week banner. We'll see how long banners last moving forward. I agree that it's a bit stressful how they overlap on global, like Joker still going but Yui and Marian are available too now, but remember that at this point Joker was GONE, and Yui would be gone by July 24th if we were on CN's banner schedule. For both limited banners so far, we have more time to save and pull, that's all there is to it.

there are people who spend stupid ammounts of hours theorycrafting all of this is many gacha communities, they games themselves are setup so new units are flasy, most people know supports have longer longevity than dps and unique buffs are the longest lifespan, it's really not arcane runes, it's not 2004, video games are far too overanalzyed these days and even if we had no CN server we'd be fine. sure some people wouldn't but people who impulse pull should have large credit cards or not care about meta anyway.
also all that information is less valuable due to the banners being sped up anyway.
the faster we get characters the sooner old ones get powercrept, the slower we get characters the more value they have.

lolwut? Half of my friends list has A1 Ann as their assist, she's easy as fuck to grab and the plan 3 cogni selector makes A2 free (what are you gonna spend it on, Marian?). Getting standards to A3 was pretty easy on CN (it took time but it happened eventually without whaling just because of how many golden tickets you got), getting them to A2 will be even easier on global since it's one less dupe.

I should make it clear that when I say "content" I mean story, side content, game modes, synergies, etc. I also do not like characters coming out faster, even if their banners last longer. I even put effort into planning for the future based on knowledge from CN, I can't imagine how stressful the banner release schedule is going to become for players who are playing casually.

If we're talking limiteds then I agree, realistically f2p players won't see the awareness buffs bear much fruit when it comes to limiteds. For standards though it's a huge boon imo. I'm very happy characters like Ann, Marian, and Ryuji will hit their stride a full copy earlier. I'm gonna have A2 Ann already set up when I finish plan 3, there was no world you could have a meta tier Ann on CN in within a month of launch unless you got really lucky with pulls.

China version honestly did really badly. The reason it's so generous is because it's trying desperately to hold onto players. I think sega thought it would flop in global too so they decided to milk as much money as possible within a short time frame and then end it. That happens often in gacha gaming. It's doing better than expected so you might see them be a bit more charitable if they gain confidence in the longevity of the game

Being realistic, 2 weeks doesn't get you 80 pulls, being real 2 weeks gets you a handful of extra pulls, at which point your using the wallet, if you're using the wallet it doesn't matter if a banner is 2 days or 4 weeks. if you got 80 pulls from the 2 weeks, sure it's great but if not then it doesn't matter. also yea if you really want joker, just fucking reroll or buy an account. was any other character 2 weeks only? might we consider that this was just a dumb design decision they fixed later as opposed to generosity.
