Depends on their motive. If it's just a friends thing that's whatever. I get invested in them because I'm only going to EB somebody that I'm either dating, or have something intense going on in RP that justifies it for an IC sort of thing.

Sphene is up there for best new character in this expansion but that isn't saying much. I really hope we leave all DT characters in DT. I hated Graha in 5.4+ he had a total character tone change and is beyond annoying. I never thought I'd look forward to seeing him but this expansions characters are so bad that I did.

I want a small journey with Estinien, Krile, maybe Graha, and definitely Tiamat going to Mericydia to see what lies in the land of dragons now that they're free and untempered. That "travel between shards" chalice? It'll be broken before 8.0 at this rate.

But it'll never happen. What will happen is Sphene will join us, Erenville will join us, Krile will get nothing, Graha will be there as the flex for dungeons because the story HAS to revolve around keeping known characters for duties now.
