I guess the strongest generic sweeper teams right now are Ann/Key/Rufel and Joker/Rin/Leon (for damage) or Marian (for sustain if you need it) (both soon to be replaced with Chord who's better 99% of the time).

Joker is still a really good sweeper without Rin so I'd build a team around him. If you have Sepia, he might be worth throwing in as a budget Rin. At least he'll confer the 10% curse damage bonus. So Joker/Sepia/Marian maybe? It'll probably get the job done.

Ryuji is hyper specialized towards single target damage, unfortunately he's no good to build around for a generic AoE team. That being said you only really need one good team for "I just want to autobattle AoE spam generic encounters" and that's a fire team so I wouldn't sweat it if you don't have an optimal Joker team.

They need more interaction/character moments to really shine. There's endless moments in P5 where they get to interact, but while I don't want loads of filler dialogue, P5X has to speedrun the cooldown/lead-ins to Palaces and thus cuts down on characterization a fair bit. It's also early in the story, so we'll have to see what (if any) development they get later on.
The story itself has hints of interest but I don't think it's leagues ahead of P5. They're about to enter the "caught up in something much bigger than them" section of it, and there needs to be more shown about the background plot of the timeloops, alternate realities, why this world is different than the one in P5, etc.

Both sides accepted that Namatame was the murderer, one side thought they were in too deep and should just back away and let the police handle the rest, the other knew the police would never be able to prove a case like that so they had to take justice into their own hands (it's actually like a mini law vs chaos choice.)
Essentially Rise, Yukiko and Chie were willing to let (what they thought was) Nanako's murderer go free as long as it meant keeping their hands clean. Yu was the only one advocating for chilling out and re-examining the situation.

It's apples and oranges. Genshin's endgame was fairly simple for a long time and you only felt you 'had' to pull a new character or weapon (the weapon banner was once very egregious but they eventually caved and fixed it) to keep going once in a blue moon, which allowed f2p/low spenders to skip characters and accrue currency to the point that they were so wealthy, it was not a problem to adapt later on when the endgame meta got more difficult.
Persona is apparently the complete fucking opposite, everything is strictly tied to elements and you need like 8 fucking teams, AND they're accelerating through all of these banners in a tiny timespan AND you get far less currency. The whiplash coming from Hoyo games cannot be overstated.

Turns out all I needed was needed 8 minutes of stacking buffs and debuffs apparently.
I realized late into the fight that by comboing S2 into S3 with the debuffs inflicted by Rin and Shoyu, Joker could do somewhat respectable damage. I was using S1 into S3 for no apparent reason. Being multitarget S1 wasn't a good idea against a single boss.

IDK about that one, Anon-kun. NGS killed base dead and has been bleeding players since week 1. It's honestly surprising Sega hasn't EOS'd global after the survey showed that Japan of all people were more pissed with the state of NGS than global.

But global's blocks are slowly bleeding out. It's under like 700 players on Steam and if you go into the block changing you'll see like 50-70% of blocks are empty no matter the ship.

I like P5X, gacha and phoning home for things to register aside. But the developers (Total World? or whatever the publisher for China is called) also did a semi-solid FF:Aigto 13 ("Type-0") MMORPG which got EOS'd because of license pulling. So I'm already onboard with whatever 5X is going to do.

Nah when you get back you should actually look at how much HP they have, it's pretty high. Half my party was level 60 and Oberon could still hit for over 2k like he's a palace boss. I would only go for one defensive/sustain charm set and otherwise get the Grim/Agony/Elucidator ones and upgrade those. Also, it's chump change but you can smash the breakables that appear sometimes at stops for some coins

Alright I ran it back and won, my charms were just a lot better. Had a buffed Murky that just threw me 2400 barrier every time scarlet tide proc'd and it kept everyone alive through the barrels of damage. It seems like character and enemy levels are pretty secondary to this game mode which is... interesting I guess. Maybe I just gotta get used to it.

Nice tip, I used fast mode so I've been missing all of those apparently. I might just use it only for battle platforms.

train mode seem pretty easy so far. i just had marian heal the entire party to full when puppet's shields go down. i was running panther, joker, marian, puppet.

I just had a run where I got this along with the one the makes scarlet proc almost every other turn, and the one that gives a chance of reusing Elucidator skills, so Puppet was putting up shields every other action along with all that. I was practically immortal.

Desu all Sega has to do is at least increase the amount of gems and mats to compensate for the accelerated schedule. PGR managed to do it right and that also had a shitty english launch.

Man just playing the game is fun. Doing the harder fights is quite interesting with buff layering and stuff. Landing a 30k hit against the Shiki Ouji that nulls everything with Ryuji was sick.
